Eco Hotel Gota del Chaco — Hotel in Villa Montes

We stayed in Eco Hotel Gota del Chaco for 4 nights in a double room with private bathroom.||Things we appreciated:|- 24 hour check-in and welcoming arrival at 1am in the morning! |- incredibly comfortable and spacious room|- very large, comfortable and clean bed|- very large shower with good water pressure|- lovely pool outside|- kitchen facilities available for use|- great breakfast|- amazing tour of Rio Pilcomayo and surrounding roads, including some history of the town and cultures (extra cost) |- gorgeous, friendly, welcoming family||Things which weren't ideal for us:|- the wifi was slow (might be solely due to the heavy rain and thunder/lightning during 2 days of our stay)|- located a significant way away from the city centre (but there are small stores very close)||We would very highly recommend staying here and...

Wonderful place, built ecologically in a very creative and well thought out way. The views are fantastic, particularly from the room at the top (Criolla). It was like being in a tree house, watching and listening to the birds. The host was very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed the fresh breakfasts outdoors and sitting down with a cool beer in the evening. He also put us in touch with an excellent local guide and made recommendations about places to eat in the town centre, easily reached on foot. This place is simply amazing. There aren't that many options for accommodation in villamontes and we wanted to stay for a day before taking the bus to Paraguay at 2am

We booked through WhatsApp and got an amazing room. The owner was super friendly and also offered a discounted price to stay up until 2am for the bus to leave which was very welcome because we were destroyed.

It was very hot at the time but the room has a great air conditioning.

There's a pool hammock and a good common space, the owner was also very helpful in recommending places to eat...
