Amazing long weekend spent there. We did a self camp and their shower and toilet facilities were a massive advantage. The water was also safe for drinking. Animal viewing: we saw a lot of game from lions to wildebeest, to a new antelope for me, the nyala; and a large number of birds. KB our guide was also very knowledgeable about the area and the animals in it. We went early January and had some light rain but nothing too major. However i think Winter camping is definitely better (No mosquitoes and less heat). A 4x4 is an advantage but not a must as you can't do self drives. Probably best to make sure the rivers aren't flowing if you don't have a snorkel...

The campsites are on the banks of the Limpopo river. We saw elephants walking along the riverbed in the afternoon. The animals in Tuli are very skittish and sometimes it is hard to see lion, elephant, leopard etc. There is plenty of the usual impala, zebra, gnu etc. Our guide Sakeo was always friendly and tried to take us where the...

Kindly in English also, My family stayed at Serolo Camp for 2 nights from September 14th during the dry season. Itโs not the easiest place to get to, but it's definitely worth the effort. The staff were friendly, the accommodation was clean, and the food was delicious. During the four game drives, we got to see wild animals roaming free, not in enclosures, which made the experience even more enjoyable. While taking photos with a good camera is great, simply watching the animals with your own eyes is just as amazing. My wife, whoโs quite picky, and my son were both completely satisfied and had no complaints. But at night, donโt ever step outside your accommodation! Never!! I hope this beautiful environment continues to be well-preserved. Next time, Iโd love to visit in late summer or early autumn when the...
