Jacana Camp — Hotel in North-West District

The camp is superbly run by Thabo and his team. You are greeted by a welcoming party, given a conducted tour of the accommodation and are settled in. The game tours are conducted by two experienced and friendly guides who each have an excellent knowledge of the flora and fauna. They are able to spot game readily and offer very rewarding drives in this beautiful countryside.

The lodge provides home-cooked meals provided by an experienced chef and attentive staff. Everything you could possibly need in a game lodge is catered for and the friendliness and caring attitude shines through. Really highly recommended

Beauitful location on the Jao floodplains of the okavango — staff was extremely hospitable and accommodating but rooms had no temperature control and were very windy. Beware traveling in winter. Outdoor shower and yoga mat were a plus. Fantastic wildlife sightings and boat rides each morning. No minibar included. Sunrise is incredible. Privacy...

This was the final accomodation of our honeymoon. (Nov 2018) The staff was very friendly, the food was good and the place is a true paradise. We got a nice suprise on our last evening: a candelight diner to conclude our trip. Great experience. We hope to come back when the water...
