Porto Preguiças Resort — Hotel in Região Geográfica Imediata de Barreirinhas

Pretty good place. Amazing facilities. The only thing I would improve is the following:

get professional level internet. I spent so much time trying to get your internet to work, I had to drive to town to an internet cafe for a whole day to do work. This is 2022, in which people expect good internet. Seeing the town has amazingly fast internet, there is no excuse for your slow, unreliable internet.

the staff are great, especially Danielo who works nights. I would say, the staff are a little cold and too professional. More smiles and being more familiar with guests would work better. Just relax and enjoy talking to the guests. Again, this is 2022 where everyone just wants relaxed, down to earth people.

That is all, I am happy, but need to tell you these things.

Note, every time I lose connection, you lose a star on your rating, we started at 4 and the internet failed 3 times so...

Now you are at 1. Really sorry about this but you need some motivation to get reliable internet. 😉

We stayed for 3 nights at Porto Preguicas Resort. It's located on the edge of town and by the river, but none of the rooms has river views. The setting and landscaping is beautiful and well maintained. All rooms are the same, chalet style. The room is basic but spacious and very clean with sufficient amenity provided, but is dark because we need to keep the A/C on and all the wooden windows closed. (Glass windows with curtains would have been a better idea.) We had dinner here twice, liked all the dishes we've ordered. The menu was big enough that we should have had all 3 dinners here, since we tried a restaurant in town once and regretted. Breakfast has a wide range of selection with good quality. Caipirinha with passion fruit is the best here. Service was professional and attentive. Only staff at the front desk speaks English. We booked our 2 tours, to Lencois Maranhenses and Boat Tour, with the travel agent at the resort. This is the best place to stay in...

Nice resort , not 5 stars , but in Barreirinhas , the best |The rooms are comfortable and huge , but not good taste in decorations . They could be explore much more the brasilians plants to make a nice garden around the cottages .The restaurant and bar are very good .One of the swimming pools are with Preguiça river water ( a beautiful river , that you can see from the resort and also, take a boat to reach the Caboree beach The resort have 3 swimming pools and is good for families , with a lot of things for childrens . |If you are travelling in 4 people or more i recommend the private tours .| During the weekends they have alive music , with good bands , playing MPB and Pop music , really good ! The staff is helpful , but , Giovane from the bar is a top waiter ! The breakfast is good . You can find all the services in the hotel , including tours .
