This one had pretty good description on their web page...but totally not true!||The hotel is not 15 min from the center - maybe 1 hour! Read moreEntered early morning. Got early check-in at 100 R. No water in room first 6 hours. Offered to use toilet and shower in a shared room in end of corridor. Wi fi free in reception - variable effect. Room With a funny Soviet-like appearance (think of old, slow and not too good a/c, grey silk table dressing, funny pictures, plastic flowers and no view). The room had a fridge and minibar. Breakfast standard. Swimming pools out of function. The good thing is the deck out on Amazonas and very nice and servicetrying and -minded staff all over. Perhaps better to use this Place as a partyplace, restaurant etc...
Read moreI stayed at Hotel Gold Mar in March 2015, it was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. They don't understand the concept of rest. In their minds the hotel should be a party place. So after spending the night before traveling from Mexico City, I was looking forward to a good night's sleep, but it wasn't meant to be. They had a very loud party going on, with live music and very loud guests.
