You will never find a place that has such passion for wildlife than you will with the 'fantastico' guide that is Jaguarman. His love for nature and positivity makes this trip a memorable and rewarding experience. We travelled around Brazil for 3 months and the first thing we tell people is about Jaguarman and the fun, wild and exciting tours that he took us on. From boat tours, night walks to horse riding - which was my favourite, each tour is filled with an abundance of knowledge, entertainment and love! If you love wildlife, you cannot walk away from here without loving it that little bit more! (Which I didn't think was possible!) |Jaguarman takes time to make sure each person is enjoying their time and accommodates to all interests. He took the time to come collect feathers with me for a special reason for my Grandmother. Jaguarman is incredibly kind natured and he shared some animal artefacts with me to use for my teaching due to a shared love of educating people about nature. Which has been well received by children and adults. (Thank you Juagarman!) |Santa Clara is a paradise to stay at, with parrots right outside your front door, horses, wild pigs, all varieties of insects just to name a few. I really felt its magic when I opened my room door and a toucan greeted me! It's a magical space to stay... we stayed in dorms (there are private rooms available) which were cool and comfy and as vegetarians we were well catered for! There's a little shop also for if you needed any snacks or beers/soft drinks. If you are an animal lover, passionate about wildlife, eager to explore and looking to stay in a place where you are surrounded by wildlife, you should stay here. |All the best...

My stay in the enchanting Santa Clara farm in Pantanal was an absolutely amazing experience. The tour was guided by the remarkable Jaguar man. From the moment I met him, it was evident that his love and respect for animals were absolutely incredible. His deep understanding of the ecosystem and commitment to conservation made every moment of the tour enlightening and inspiring.

The accommodation was cozy and comfortable, and the food was really tasty. Each meal was really good and had fresh and delicious local ingredients. The tastiest local food I had in Brazil so far. And the staff was absolutely helpful and great.

One of the most memorable aspects of the tour was the profound sense of peace and tranquility that enveloped the entire farm. Surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of Pantanal, I found myself reconnecting with nature in a way I hadn't experienced in a long time. Whether observing wildlife in their natural habitat or simply taking in the serene surroundings, every moment felt like a precious gift.

Moreover, the tour provided me with a much-needed opportunity to reconnect with myself on a deeper level. Away from the distractions of daily life, I was able to reflect, recharge, and gain a newfound perspective on what truly matters.

As my stay came to an end, I was really regretting not staying longer. Unfortunately because all my next accomodations and flights were booked, I couldn't prolong my stay. The experience had been nothing short of transformative, and I found myself already yearning to return to Santa Clara farm and the incredible guidance...

After traveling around Brazil a few weeks and staying lots of places this by far was the highlight of our month in Brazil.Off the beaten path 20k of gravel you get to the entrance. Its a paradise lots of macaws everywhere and so many other birds.Monkeys in the trees, horses and cows everything spot on clean and the owners are amazing friendly smiles upon arrival and hugs on departure. The food is amazing they have a few ladies that can make the best dinners and lunches and even fed us lunch when we left and got us 10liters of fuel so we could make it back from Bonito. If you want to get on a horse and just go ride by yourself you can they can take you piranha fishing and the ladies will cook it up for you

Algo surreal. As refeições deliciosas.

We spent 3 nights, 4 days here in mid-september as part of a larger backpacking trip around Latin America. The pousada offered a cheaper alternative to the northern pantanal but sadly we did not see the elusive jaguar. We really enjoyed the activities offered, especially with the ever enthusiastic guide "jaguarman". The boat rides on the nearby river were a highlight. The food served for lunch and dinner was super tasty and varied, there was also loads so you definitely wouldn't go hungry. Overall we were pleased with our choice and would recommend to others on a budget.
