Cana Brava Resort — Hotel in Região Geográfica Imediata de Ilhéus – Itabuna

It has been a great experience so far. The staff is great especially Robert do Carmo, very friendly and funny. The weather is amazing and we've been enjoying the beach and pools everyday. The food is largely good and with lots of options the thematic nights at the main restaurant plays a key role in diversity. A few tweaks would get the service level from four to five stars and I'll list below. Each food station should have plates and cutlery. There's nowhere to eat between 6am and 7am, I know who is hungry at that time right, but there are parents with kids up around that time and not having access to food is annoying when you are in an all inclusive experience. On the same line as the previous point, having the kids pool opening at 9am is a recipe for people not respecting the working hours, by 9 many kids have been up for 3 to 4 hours and managing their patience for that long is quite challenging. Around accommodations everything is a bit worn off in the apartments. The edge of the mirrors are rusty, the corner of the counters are worn, the cortains are old, the room could use a coat of paint. These are details that don't impact the overall experience but makes it unfair to rank it a 5. The wifi has to be better, if you are going to offer the service it should be of good quality and at this point it simply not. They have a confirmed bot, "Jorginho" which can't answer simple questions it's another sign that tech needs an update around here. All in all, I probably would come back here. The food was fantastic! The variety, the number of healthy and vegan options, the labels for gluten and dairy allergies, salad and fruit bar, desert bar, and special meals cooked on demand were all wonderful.||The pools and beach areas were well-maintained.||The staff are all very friendly, which also set the culture for the guests. Everyone was friendly. Not everyone speaks English, and if you share a need with someone who doesn't speak English, they may say, "Yes. Yes." and having not understood, actually do nothing. If they do not hand you off to someone who does speak English, do not expect your needs to be met. ||For business, the conference rooms were large and the technical support accommodated our needs well. The food and coffee for our breaks was delicious and beautiful. We had one glitch with a power outage.||The entertainment was good fun, especially Friday night.||There was one day when all the room keys in the entire resort were reset. That was challenging.||Coming from the US, traveling as a single female, I was concerned about security. Upon checking the locks to my original room, they were not working correctly, and there was no closing latch on the bathroom window. I was thankfully moved (a couple hours later) to a room with working door locks, and a latch for the window, but it was concerning that those details weren't proactively managed, especially after expressing concern for safety upon check-in.||I would have loved to take my family here when the...

I have visited others resorts all inclusive in our country, but I was surprised with Cana Brava Resorts. I think the check in is always the most important part when you have just arrived at hotel, sometimes you have to wait for a long time in the line and it's hard for whom is traveling with kids... at Cana Brava it was fast and their Cana Brava App makes the game more fun and avoid the paperwork eventually common. Mattress was cleaner and whiter, softly and hard enough. House keepers were perfect! Every day musical presentation at the lunch in the restaurant in the beach. At night, special programs for adults and children. By the way, the resort is very lovely, kindly and friendly with kids. If you're looking for special needs for kids it will be a perfect shoot! The beach is one of the most beautiful and exotic in Ilheus everyone can enjoy it. For the shuttle to airport Jorge Amado I recommend to take a cabin you will pay R$ 80 and you can schedule via webmail. The beverage is Coca-Cola company whit fruits seasoning juices.
