Amazon Ríver Resort Hotel — Hotel in Região Geográfica Imediata de Parintins

I have stayed at this hotel 4 or 5 times. I have also stayed at another hotel in Parintins. The group that I work with also sends teams of Americans that stay here for 5-6 days at a time.||||The hotel has been a great option for us. At the very least, it is adequate as a clean resting place. But they have made some great additions over the last few years. Their food is very good (nobody has gotten sick), they have a nice little pool to cool of in, and a number of recreational activities (soccer court, ping pong, foosball, pool table, etc...). The laundry service is very affordable and nice. The wifi costs a bit of money and is not fantastic, but it gets the job done in a pinch. To be honest, though, the internet connectivity is about as good as it gets in a small town in the Amazon. What do you expect?||||In general, this hotel is certainly the best option in Parintins. Tive um voo cancelado e precisei ficar nesse hotel com minha filha de 1 ano e 8 meses. Minha experiência foi bem ruim. Não tinha água no hotel no primeiro dia. Eu tive que pedir pra mudar de quarto pq o cheiro podre do ralo empestou o quarto. O chuveiros não tem manutenção e os buracos estavam entupidos. A refeição não era variada, apesar do preço absurdo do buffet. O atendimento também não é bom. Não fizeram limpeza nos quartos durante os dias que fiquei. Um absurdo. A sala de espera tinha um vaso de vidro na mesinha de centro mas não tinha suporte ou peso para sustentar, qualquer pessoa que esbarrasse poderia derrubar. Infelizmente minha filha tocou e o vaso caiu e graças à Deus ela não se machucou. A única coisa que eu achei legal lá foi a piscina. Mas os refletores de luz não funcionam a noite. Fica bem escuro . O controle do ar condicionado nao funcionava, apesar de eu ter pedido que trocassem a pilha, mas não o fizeram, então, era ligado no interruptor e tinha q ser desligado a noite pq ficava muito frio e depois muito quente e não dava pra controlar a temperatura sem controle....

Hotel was clean and staff very helpful! Price was in line with amenities. Food was good and also price well. Wi fi is not free and spotty. Second floor fire door escape door was locked but they unlocked it and it stayed that way for the rest of the week. We stayed for a week and...
