Pousada Iansã — Hotel in Região Geográfica Imediata de Parnaíba

We stayed at Pousada Iansã for 5 nights, and even came back later in our holiday for 3 more nights! This really is a hidden gem in a world-class kite spot. Stephan and Julie are remarkable hosts and exceptional cooks (their Bruschetta snack was the best I have ever eaten, and live right next to Italy!). Breakfast is delicious, with eggs, granola, and other treats which can be cooked at your request.

Stephan and Julie are highly professional hosts, yet you always feel at home and welcome as if part of the family. Stephan is half Brazilian and was more than happy to help us organise excursions and kiting trips with guides outside of Macapa (super helpful since we don't speak Portuguese).

The bungalows are beautiful and the bed is super comfortable. The rooms include a mosquito net, hot water, a kite/kit locker, and a fridge stocked with beer and soft drinks.
