We stayed in this fabulous guesthouse for two weeks in late September and early October. The location of the property facing the confluence of the river and ocean is stunningly beautiful. Guests can take in the scene, watch boats go by, fishermen casting their nets; or swing in a hammock under the old heart tree by the water. Words are inadequate to properly describe the many unspoilt vistas or nearby beaches. |The guesthouse is spotless, beautifully kept, and decorated with creative artworks. Staff are truly wonderful and attentive, and Cristiane manages everything with efficiency and a smile. The entire experience of being a guest reflects thoughtful attention to detail of everything.|We occupied the front unit on the bottom floor. It is large, has kitchen facilities, and a dining table. The bathroom is well equipped. Our comfortable large double bed meant we got good sleep for next day adventures. |We sometimes took breakfast prepared by the guesthouse staff from delicious local produce. Other days we made something for ourselves for breakfast. Lunches and suppers we ate out or made from supplies from local shops.|Our adventures included trips in the flat bottomed boat captained by Cristiane’s partner Naylton. |Overall, we had an exceptional stay and shall certainly go back to Maruê...
Read moreThe inn is in the best location of Porto de Pedras, a city that can be a starting point to explore different paradisiacal beaches, such as Japaratinga, Maragogi, São Miguel dos Milagres, Tatuamunha and Patacho. The proximity to the ferry (Porto de Pedras - Japarantinga) and to vans (which take pedestrians to another city) is very strategic.||||Cris and Naylton made an incredible reception, we felt welcomed and well guided by their tips. They are very friendly, helpful and approachable.||||Breakfast is served in a Bistro next door, which has tables to face the beautiful view of the river.||||There are suites overlooking the river and others with more privacy, overlooking preserved trees at the back of the inn. A jacuzzi can be rented separately.||||We rent bicycles in good condition and ride more than 30km, on a flat, safe and stunning path. ||||I recommend without fear of making mistakes, and would return for...
