Vila Cobe can be called your beach house. Not only for the big and comfortable rooms, but how much welcomed you feel once you meet Claudia, Rubens & Maria.||||This is a small Pousada open in Jan of 2012, with 8 rooms only. From the entrance door until the backyard in the rooms, there is a little touch of good taste.||||There is a big terrace where you can "chilax" reading a book or one of the tons of magazines available, accessing the internet or just meeting the other guests. ||||The breakfast is not huge, but has everything you need to start a good day. Breads, cakes, rabanadas and even the yogurt are home made. You can also ask for Tapiocas or a melted "queijo coalho" and it will come straight from the kitchen. ||||The rooms are very comfortable with a rustic chic touch. The bed is comfortable. There are no mosquitos here, or at least, we were luck enough as I haven't seen them. Every room has its private backyard with a hammock and external shower to refresh yourself, which I very much enjoyed taking showers in the morning or evenings. ||||There is a long pathway where you will get to the beautiful beach, as well a beautiful deck, with a little swimming pool. Hoping Claudia and Rubens may invest some money in the future to build a bigger pool. With that, I would call this little place a piece of heaven on earth.||||Cannot forget to mention the dinner. Really great food. If you like fish, make sure you ask for the "chef's fish" (it is covered with banana pure and seasoned with ginger) .... Really yummy !||||The service is really great. The staffs are very well trained and extremely polite. At the pool, you will always find a very attentive person asking if you need anything else. Drink as much coconut water and caipirinhas as you deserve and have a blast !!!!||||||Curiosities about the place: One of the most interesting things happen in the state of Alagoas. At certain time during the morning, the sea starts to get dry and some beautiful natural swim pools start to appear. The water is really really warm (around 30C or even more, depending how deep the sea is). Ater 2pm, the sea starts to get full again and the beach disappear and you will find a completely...
Read moreStunning view, amazingly friendly staff, spotless architecture and a surprisingly professional cuisine - this is what makes this is in the perfect spot in Japaratinga beach.||From the very moment we arrived at the inn we had an unique experience: no check-in required! I was taken directly to my room and treated by name by all of the staff - just amazing. They have a diverse menu and fair price, it is easy to order a couple of beers or a bottle of champagne and just relax at their "lounge" facing straight to the sea.||Cuisine is a marvel on its own - breakfast is a composition of different kinds of bread and fruit alongside with things you can order: omelettes, "tapioca", grilled cheese and so on. In the normal reservation you also get another meal - dinner or lunch. In our case we always had dinner as we were too busy enjoying the beach with some appetisers you can order from the "pool service" they provide.||Lobster, generous octopuses tentacles, perfectly cooked shrimp, nicely seasoned sirloin steaks - you name it, there is room for every type of taste the only problem is that you won't stay enough days to try them all.||Rooms are modern and look very new - highlight to the open air shower in the balcony. Atmosphere is very cosy and I felt at home during the whole stay. Ideal for couples looking for a romantic escape from the city. Wish all the best to Rubens and Claudia, the always friendly owners of this...
Read moreWe LOVED our stay. The pousada is small, beautifully decorated, relaxing, and peaceful. Claudia (owner) is so friendly and helpful as is all the staff (big mention to Aline and Bebeto!!). Nothing was ever a problem. The food was good, and to be honest probably the best in the area. We ate out a few times but found we preferred the food at the pousada. We would order early and set a time to eat (before 9pm when kitchen closed) which was perfect with kids and also meant we could all drink. We explored the area but the best beach was Bintingui where the pousada is. Safe for the kids and beautiful at low tide. We even arranged some fishing off the beach at low tide with the son of the local sailor who took us to the pools (Claudia arranged it for us and we even got to see manatees in the world as a bonus!). My Girls loved it. The beach is a little slice of paradise. I think the negative reviews are really nit picking. We thought it was great value, the best beach, great location, lovely pousada and great friendly customer service. You can’t go wrong. Bonus that no one ‘reserved’ sun loungers like in Europe robin big hotels! Thoroughly recommend it! Muito obrigada Claudia!! Foi tudo...
