The two sweet women who run this charming, art-filled pousada are so very hospitable and welcoming. This place was made for serious relaxation, with sumptuous and comfortable rooms, elegant bathrooms, natural pools on the beach, and a regular pool. Throughout the courtyard and pool areas resting on the hammocks and chair lounges is unavoidable until mealtime. When meals were served, the well-prepared and mouth-watering food was so enticing that it made sense to give up all pretense of self-control. The food is that good —and no one will look at you the wrong way for taking seconds. Pousada a Capela is super cosy, spotless, and full of character. The beach in front has beautiful natural sea pools formed by reefs, perfect for swimming at low tide or even diving to watch colourful fish and other sea creatures. Breakfast was another highlight — absolutely amazing! Our bedroom couldn’t have been more charming. But above all, what truly made our stay unforgettable was the staff. Every single person went above and beyond with warmth, care, and professionalism. Their service was not just excellent, but heartfelt — the kind of hospitality you rarely find even in 5-star resorts.
