Pousada Ipitanga IV is located not too far from the airport and not too far from downtown Salvador., which was convenient. Clean - from the room to the grounds of the pousada, to the right-size swimming pool, if you don't feel like going to the beach or want to enjoy a refreshing dip surrounded by fruit and palm trees, all is well kept but yet with a casual feel to it that makes it feel like home. The pousada is hidden in a cul-de-sac not too far from the beach and it feels safe. The atmosphere is friendly and the breakfast was good, with fresh fruits and pastries. Quite simply, the most hospitable and homely Pousada I've stayed in. Gilberto is an excellent host. He met me at the airport, drove me to the Pousada, ordered me a pizza and we had a great chat over a beer whilst his adorable Labrador snoozed nearby.||||The room was very comfortable with a quality bed, air conditioning, tastefully furnished and TV.
