The house is stunning, surrounded by forest with monkeys and birds in the trees that you can see from the balcony. The rooms are unique and stylish and very comfortable and spacious! It even has a hot bath in the room! The owners are kind, welcoming and both have some special talents. I have had massages for all my life and lived in major capital of the world and so honestly it was a surprise to have the best massage I have ever had in the middle of the Amazon by Widson. Bruna, the hostess, also prepares the most amazing Amazonian breakfasts using local ingredients. We loved her food so much that we ask her to host a dinner for us and the fish was spectacular and night I will never forget. We chose this location partly because it was a bit outside of the center as we had heard it can get noisy in town and we are glad we made this decision. We slept in peace and to the sounds of wildlife and every time we went into town at night we were grateful for choosing this location. This was one of the best vacations I have ever had! Between the comfortable room, gorgeous property, incredible food, and warm hospitality, this trip will be one I always remember. Our hosts Mestre and Bruna made sure that every part of our trip was perfect. If we needed a ride to town, a massage/acupuncture, or someone to tell us about the beautiful landscape, they always were there. A highlight for me during this trip would be the food. Bruna cooked us the most delicious breakfasts and was available to cook us lunch and dinner on request. Her cooking was the best food I have ever had while traveling and I miss it already. As someone who doesn’t speak Portuguese, I was worried about my ability to communicate with my hosts, but they were patient with me and taught me some phrases as well. I am so grateful to have stayed here and I am hoping to go back to spend more time with Mestre, Bruna, and Cadu. I cannot recommend this...

This place is a hidden gem, just a little bit outside the town of Alter do Chão, with a lovely garden, pool, and animals—it offers tranquility and peace of mind. The room is super comfortable, beautifully decorated, and even includes a private hot bath.

The family that owns the place is incredibly kind and welcoming, clearly putting so much love and effort into making this place special. The breakfast was honestly one of the best we’ve ever had in our lives, all freshly prepared by Bruna, the wonderful hostess. Widson, the host, is calm and attentive, always ready to help with anything you might need. I also tried the massage he offers, and it was fantastic.

Their little son, Kadu, is the cutest child ever—I just wish I spoke Portuguese to chat with him more!
