Tamareiras Park Hotel — Hotel in Região Geográfica Imediata de Uberaba

We were invited to a family wedding and chose to stay in a hotel, to have more flexibility. This one attracted us to generally positive reviews on TA and we'll add at least these 4 "stars". It's actually quite an attractive hotel - especially from the outside - and it's cleanliness is top. Also, we requested a silent room and got one on the 4th floor turned to the back of the building (we did miss having a balcony - which we would request on a possible next stay).||||From the start it's very noticeable that Tamareiras is not only the oldest hotel in town, but it's one that values its team - rarely have I noticed so many older employees and all working with enthusiasm. All of our requests - like extra pillows - were delivered quickly.||||Another plus point is the location - walking distance to the Municipal Market, to the Cathedral and the Artisan's House and by car close to anywhere else.||||Breakfast was also quite good - I'd highlight the fresh fruit and some of the sweet cakes. The coffee was standard, but above average tasty, as should be in coffee country.||||Why only give it a 4 then? Because all things considered, it wasn't an extraordinary experience that merits a 5 and at least my wife, on our next stay, will prefer to try the more modern sister hotel Tamareiras that's next door. Maybe after we go there, we'll either appreciate the Park Hotel more or maybe it would still be a 4. ||||A detail that was evident to me, who've got friends in wheelchairs - the hotel hasn't been remodeled to be accessible. I imagine if someone with special requirements tries to make a reservation is redirected to the newer hotel.||||A final key detail - just by coincidence the wedding occurred exactly during the biggest event in Uberaba - ExpoZebu - so we paid twice the normal room charge. We've stayed here three times in the last few years. It's a big upgrade from the Park Hotel, which can be confusing when you're booking on their website. It's best to call for reservations. They do have English speaking staff (not sure about the reservations desk)||||We stay here as our base to visit family, but it's an ideal hotel for a business trip too.||||The wi-fi here is strong, and works well||The breakfast is really good, even by Brazilian standards||Parking is free||The Art Deco interior compliments the Park hotel well.||||The best compliment I can give the place is that I'd happily stay here if I was on a business trip in a US city. It's not the Marriott, or Hilton, but I'd equate it to a new DoubleTree in terms of room amenities, and a little better than that in terms of food, bar, and location. O hotel Tamareira park precisa se alinhar ao cliente e não o cliente se dobrar ao hotel. Estive hospedada do dia 11 a 14/03 . Na qual paguei 780,00 ( um adulto e uma criança). Valor de cada diária 225,00. Foi negociado diretamente no hotel por 03 diárias e meia. A minha decepção foi ao tentar negociar mais um período de permanência no hotel. Sendo das 12:00 do dia 14/03até às 23:00. Me dirigi até a recepção e argumentei com o funcionário da minha necessidade. Ele me respondeu que não conseguiria um preço bom ( 1/2) diária. Mesmo eu tendo já pago o valor que o hotel me impôs 3 1/2. Que eles já tinham feito um bom preço. Que o valor real da diária é de 279,00. Isso chega a soar como uma afronta a nossa inteligência. Que para eles ( hotel) fazer um preço razoável não é interessante pois se eu ficasse até às 23:00 o quarto ficaria indisponível. Ou seja vem a pergunta. E o que paguei até então?qual a importância de um hóspede se este precisa ouvir tais absurdos. E outra . PAGUEI O Que o HOTEL EXIGIU. Lamentável situação pois no site do booking o preço para um adulto e uma criança é de 228,00 com um detalhe o hotel não receberia integralmente o valor pois teria que pagar a taxa de administração ao booking. Para minha infelicidade como cliente do booking foi não ter feito pelo app . Acabei fazendo direto no hotel. Se tivesse feito pelo booking não teria que ouvir tal absurdos, descalabros.. E para terminar de a diária fosse de 279,00 este hotel precisa melhorar muito. Sua estrutura está muito defasada, antiga. A começar pelas fotos que apresenta. Como pode dizer que tem piscina de está não funciona? Suja, com reformas, com tapumes ao redor. Sem contar que tive que argumentar a alteração de quarto. Isso mesmo. Vc paga e tem que justificar que o que te empurram não está em conformidade com a qualidade que deveria existir. Afinal eu paguei e cabe ao hotel oferecer o que está em seu Site. ( Infraestrutura, qualidade). Assim foi a minha história. Resultado? Tive que ir para outro hotel. Que não se importou a fazer um preço ( bom senso) mesmo que seja por apenas 11 horas.
