Fazenda Hotel Jatahy — Hotel in Região Geográfica Imediata de Valença

LOVED this place! It is far from the sounds of the city with gorgeous scenery and really, really nice people. My family and I (multiple generations) spent a week here and it was a perfect place for us to get together. The main house is a lovely colonial that's been in the family for generations. There is a beautiful pool and a place for parties, and--most importantly for us--there are horses for trail riding! The food was extraordinary, and everyone running and managing the place went out of their way to make us feel at home. Just finished a 10 day stay. This was my 6th stay and every time the service has been impeccable. The rooms are small but comfortable and cleaned each morning by the same little lady. The food is served cafeteria style with several meats vegetables breads and deserts. The pool is large and well kept, but the weather was too cold for me but not some of my friends. They jumped right in. This is not the Ritz Carlton so take your own wash cloth. This is a very reasonable get away trip if you want to get lost for a week or to. Limited internet an cell service but to me that is one of the good things...

Um excelente exemplo onde a simplicidade, a internet limitada (e pra que internet?), a falta de TV no quarto (e pra que TV?), o clima familiar e a excelente comida, imperam nesse simpático e acolhedor Hotel Fazenda, e faz a estadia ser algo muito gostoso de ser lembrado. Vale destacar que o Hotel é muito bem decorado, limpo, e todo o espaço é muito bem cuidado, inclusive os jardins, etc...||Logo após o carnaval, onde estava lotado, eu, minha esposa e meus pais, ficamos de sexta a domingo lá, na chamada "ressaca do carnaval". E para nossa surpresa, só havia a gente no Hotel. De princípio ficamos com receio, mas isso logo foi esquecido com a maravilhosa acolhida que tivemos. A comida é muito, mas MUITO gostosa mesmo, feita com muito amor pela Dona Lenir, e servida com muita cordialidade pela sua filha Priscila. O funcionário Vitor foi muito atencioso, e o proprietário, Hilton, fez questão de nos fazer companhia em vários momentos, sempre muito simpático, bem como sua esposa. Inclusive, tiveram a preocupação de comprar alguns itens que estavam faltando, como a cerveja que gosto, a fruta que queríamos pra caipirinha, entre outros agrados...||Enfim, nos sentimos na casa de amigos, e não num Hotel. Voltarei...
