Pousada Nannai Noronha Solar dos Ventos — Hotel in Região Geográfica Imediata do Recife

Given that this hotel charges international luxury prices we felt that from a service perspective they have much to work on. The decoration, interior design and hotel setting are wonderful.

Firstly, via the hotel, we booked a half day boat trip (Costing $890!), which we were told to be at the main port for 1.30p.m. the boat didn't arrive until 2.45p.m. and so we waited in the mid afternoon heat, waisting a good chunk of our afternoon. After communication with the hotel and the boat driver, it became clear that the hotel had told us the wrong time. When returning to the hotel that evening, they never acknowledged their error or offered an apology. This is simply unacceptable.

There were other small, but notable instances that I would like to raise awareness to. There was never any staff members around the pool area, so each time I wanted a drink or a snack I had to walk into the reception area and ask someone to serve me. Not exactly relaxing or luxurious..

The breakfast served each day was at times quite bland and repetitive. The bread and pastries were not particularly fresh. On our second morning (after finishing breakfast), I noticed that there was a large table in the main reception room with champagne, jams, bread and other snacks. After enquiring, I learnt that this was also part of the breakfast but no one had ever explained this to us.

The hotel also didn't offer oat milk and only offered almond milk as a lactose alternative, which again, for the price the hotel charges, it should cater for what are becoming very popular milk supplements. When we have stayed at similar hotels (which initially didn't have oat milk), the next morning they had gone and bought some to cater for our needs. I completely appreciate that these are small details, but, it is in these details that hotels gain five stars.

We had dinner one night at the restaurant and found the food to be just ok. I ordered the steak which was incredibly fatty. The next evening we went to the hotel next door and had a much better meal.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The staff were generally friendly and the small treats left in our room were a very nice touch. There are many great aspects to this hotel and with a few tweaks (particularly their service), the hotel could be...

Hospitalidade. Acho que é essa a melhor definição do Nannai Solar dos Ventos. Com a nova bandeira e a adoção de um padrão de atendimento muito bom foram feitas reformas e adotados procedimentos que tornaram a meu ver a melhor opção para se desfrutar Fernando de Noronha. As instalações são muito boas, novas (acredito que reformadas) e oferecem muito conforto. Tenho, porém, duas ressalvas: o isolamento acústico entre os bangalôs que são lado a lado (vista jardim) deusa muito a desejar, de modo que o que se faz em uma habitação se ouve na outra. Isso é um problema para dormir, principalmente porque é um destino de lua de mel. Aí imagina! Rsrs. O outro problema é que a porta de vidro do banheiro não oferece uma privacidade muito boa ao casal, pois além de não fechar muito bem e ser barulhenta, também não oferece um isolamento acústico (por mais apaixonado que esteja, ninguém precisa ouvir quando seu companheiro está no banheiro). A cama é muito boa, travesseiros confortáveis, toalhas de banho excelentes e os produtos de banho da Loccitane maravilhoso. O restaurante é muito muito bom mesmo. Os preços são justos para o padrão da Ilha, inclusive mais barato que algumas opções da Vila (Xica da Silva, por exemplo) e a comida é maravilhosa. O cardápio é enxuto, porém atende os mais diversos sabores. Além de permitir alterações nos acompanhamentos (trocamos massa por espaguete trufado de vegetais e o chef adicionou um musselin de banana da terra sem cobrar nada 👏🏼👏🏼). Sem falar nas cortesias e mimos, como taças de espumantes (oferecidas com muita simpatia pelos garçons). O café da manhã é um dos melhores que já comi. Muitas opções e de excelente qualidade. Além de oferecer muitos produtos expostos para escolha do hóspede, a cozinha prepara omeletes, tapiocas, ovos, queijos na chapa, torrada francesa etc com muita agilidade e carinho. A piscina, apesar de ainda ser pequena (acredito que devem aumentar), é um charme (instalações ótimas para tirar fotos). Você se instala muito confortavelmente com uma vista maravilhosa e é servido com o que desejar. Apesar de todas essas qualidades estruturais, na minha humilde opinião o melhor do Nannai foi o atendimento. Não tem como você não se sentir bem (a não ser que você seja um ogro!), pois desde o primeiro contato na chegada (Diogo e Luiz Felipe), com todo o pessoal de serviço (nenhum jardineiro passa por você sem fazer um cumprimento espontâneo), o pessoal da recepção sempre disposto a lhe atender no que desejar e, principalmente, os garçons (destaco o Yuris e o Nildo, mas há também o Léo, o Rafael e o Marquinhos) que tratam todos muitíssimo bem. Fernando de Norohna is one of the most beautiful places in the world, but for us it was even more special because we were staying at Nannai. As soon as we entered, we immediately felt at home, a beautiful house with charming hosts who do everything to make you feel at ease, without ever being intrusive. The food is delicious, from breakfast to dinner. The architecture of the hotel is in perfect symbiosis with the wonderful natural surroundings. The rooms are simply perfect, because they are furnished with refined simplicity and isolated from each other so that privacy is not jeopardised by the presence of other guests. The communal area, where you have breakfast, lunch and dinner and look out over the sea, is beautifully furnished, with sculptures that seem to have been made specifically to stand there, but are instead certainly the result of a search for detail.
