Serrambi Resort — Hotel in Região Geográfica Imediata do Recife

Edit: After posting this review, the manager reached out almost immediately (the following day as I posted this review in the evening) and made sure to clarify our grievances. The manager clarified that water would be provided at breakfast for free along with juices and coffee. However throughout the day, if you require water, you can ask the service staff to refill your bottle for you (although that was not what we were told by front desk staff and a couple other service staff when asked when we arrived - I noticed that many other guests were also unaware as they took a taxi out like myself to buy a couple gallons of water). The location of this resort is pretty good considering that it is very private but also remote and relatively far away from everything. Uber is difficult to get but the taxi is available however the wait is dependent on staff and driver availability. The best thing about this resort is definitely the food, beaches, and service staff. The food is ABSOUTELY AMAZING. I would like to thank the manager and service staff who made me feel like what happened on the first day didn't happen at all.

Not as advertised. Breakfast and dinner are said to be all inclusive but it is a TRAP! You would expect drinks, ESPECIALLY WATER to be included in the meals but NO. All drinks are excluded from the stay and very expensive. Nowhere was it written that water is inaccessible and very expensive when needed. Must take a 20 min walk to the city to buy water from the store....

The resort is nested in a amazing part of Pernambuco, around one hour from the closest airport (Recife) the resort has a Hacienda ambiance.||Surrounded by beaches one must do is, in the morning during low tide, visit the natural pool in the coral reefs to swim with different fishes ( lots of colors and shapes).||After visiting the reef is time for a nice caipirinha ( traditional Brazilian drink made with cachaça spirit and lime) by the pool.||The hotel is family focused but entertainment staff helps parents providing activities for kids allowing parents to relax and enjoy, a massage in the tent in front of the ocean is a great choice.||Covid protocols were in place but without harassing guests.||Pros|- Natural beauties. |- recreation staff|- amazing sunset||Cons|- Gift shop didn’t have kids toys like bucket or water launcher. ||- Food and Beverage a bit overpriced (value for money point of view) ||- Checkout happens at 12:00 and flights to São Paulo at 18:00 we requested late checkout which was denied, even though we would pay||Overall I rate my experience 4 out of 5 and recommend staying in...

É um resort com grande potencial para ser um hotel 5 estrelas mas não entrega aquilo que promete em relação as refeições pelo preço cobrado, pelo menos não comparando a outros resorts que já fomos, tanto na região quanto em outros estados.

Se estiver de carro tente chegar cedo para conseguir estacionar dentro, pois também precisamos deixar o carro na rua em uma das noites...

O maior ponto positivo do resort é a estrutura que é muito boa, você fica em uma praia privativa e muito bonita, tem bastante espaço, tanto de orla e cadeiras de praia, quanto de piscina, e também o salão das refeições é muito bonito. A parte decorativa de todo resort é muito bem cuidada, e limpo também, não há do que reclamar neste quesito. O atendimento dos funcionários também foi muito bom.

Não recomendo fazer passeios pelo resort, pois queriam cobrar R$520 para um casal em um mesmo passeio que fizemos por R$200 lidando direto com empresas de turismo incluindo o transfer. E no resort eles mesmos falam que é terceirizado, então vale a pena pesquisar bem antes de fechar.

O café da manhã é ok, padrão de resort, e as frutas da região são ótimas independente do hotel que você ficar, em geral o café ficou abaixo do esperado pelo preço.

Já os jantares foram bem abaixo do esperado.. você tem 1 buffet de pratos principais, 1 ilha de pães, 1 ilha de saladas, e 1 ilha de sobremesas, a variedade é ok mas não há nada de especial, nós ficamos 3 noites e apenas uma delas teve camarão e era um creme tipo catupiry com camarões escondidos, na ilha principal é frango assado e peixe, e carne na chapa todos os dias, e tem massa, arroz e feijão, tipo restaurante por kilo. A ilha de salada é a mesma todos os dias, com conservas e maioneses, e saladas de folhas, o único dia que tinha palmito eram 3 pedaços enfeitando uma salada. E as sobremesas são ok, preferi as frutas do café.

Um detalhe que acabou decepcionando foi a falta de atenção em relação as crianças que ficam pelo buffet, e nem todos os pais ficam de olho, vimos duas ocasiões onde crianças mexeram na comida do buffet com as mãos e largaram lá mesmo, os funcionários poderiam ficar mais atentos a isto. Era quase brincadeira de pega pega durante o jantar. Se você tem filhos recomendo este resort pois é bem familiar e tem muitas crianças.

Outro detalhe é que o wi-fi não funciona direito nos quartos, o wi-fi tem sinal e conecta mas a internet fica travando o tempo todo mesmo após fazer login. Durante toda nossa estadia preferimos usar a conexão móvel pois era mais estável e não ficava caindo toda hora, principalmente durante a noite.

Em resumo, recomendo apenas pela estrutura e localização, se puder pegar sem jantar vale mais a pena, mas verificando no site eles não dão a opcao.. as vezes é melhor até sair para algum restaurante a noite, e se quiser comida parecida ao buffet é só ir em qualquer restaurante...
