Guapimirim Bicho do Mato Suites — Hotel in Região Geográfica Imediata do Rio de Janeiro

We stayed here for just one night in December 2022.

We were traveling as two couples on a road trip and wanted to spend the night near Serra dos Órgãos. We booked this the morning of our stay and Vanessa responded quickly with confirmation and driving directions. We arrived after dark, so the directions were super helpful.

The cabins are nice and clean and the setting in the jungle is incredible. The river runs behind the cabin and you can walk just down the road to the public access to the waterfalls (and rock slides if you want).

Açaí and coffee for breakfast was perfect and Vanessa was a wonderful host.

We had such a lovely stay at the Bicho do Mato Suites! The two nice houses are to find at a wonderful place in the nature with a river were you can swim near. The owner of the houses does evenything to make you stay as nice as possible. She's a very kind lady and wich speaks good English and tries to help you as much she can. At the time we were there (december) the fireflie were flying around our hammock in the evening, while we were lying there with a glass of Sangria. It was just so wonderful. Pra quem quer fugir da cidade e curtir a natureza o local é ideal. A pousada possuí apenas dois chalés que apesar de simples são bem aconchegantes. Não tem TV a cabo mas o sinal do Wifi é ótimo. O quarto é limpo e bem arejado, não tem luxo, mas você se sente em casa, o café da manhã que é pago a parte é muito bom (se vc quiser pode levar sua própria comida, tem frigobar lá). A pousada fica a 2 minutos a pé de uma ótima cachoeira e a 30 minutos, de carro,do centro de Teresópolis.||Mas lá só dá pra ir de carro, pois a pousada é isolada, mas mesmo assim vale a hospedagem.||A Vanessa foi super atenciosa e com certeza retornaremos lá. ||Acho que para quem tem crianças pequenas é ótimo, pois eles terão um contato com a natureza, coisa que não é fácil acontecer na cidade grande|||| · A estrada poderiam ser um pouco melhor, apesar de ser de paralelepípedo, tem uma parte que está faltando, mas nada que nos...
