Everything was large, light and cold (both in temperature and in atmosphere, with, among, others bright white LED lights making you feeling to be in the hall of a railroad station). How come that one is unable to make a good hotel room with basically good material. A bathroom door that cannot be closed properly due to bad construction of the sliding door, resulting in an inundated room. No place to put your soap and shampoo in the shower, except for the floor. No place to hang your clothes in the bathroom, or your towels next to the shower door. No drinking glasses at all, even not one plastic cup. The towel rack, new I suppose, was badly fixed and almost came down). A new airconditioner that does not work so the room remains very cold. Quickly painted, so spots of paint on the furniture and the tiles, Damaged tiles, drops of ceiling material on the shower wall etc etc. Another frustration was that the hotel room was just a meter a way from a greenhouse which made me realize that the smell in the bedroom was dominated by that of chemical pesticides. And a last surprise I badly hit my head against a low part of the roof, as if all people are shorter than 1.50 meter. Price and breakfast reasonable. Positive point: the location is quiet. My advise: find a real nice pousada or hotel in Jaquariuno to feel like being in Brazil and not in...
Read morePretty good hotel overall. The area is green, has lots of flowers and the pool is beautiful. The location is far from the city center, but is also pretty easy to get to the major tourist attractions.|The bedrooms are beautiful and well furnished. Everything works nicely and the shower is delicious. I think the hotel has an amazing location and structure.|However, the hotel is a little lacking in terms of service. There is a single restaurant that doesn't really work most of the time. Sunday night you might as well not eat at all, as there is barely no delivery in the town and the restaurant won't be working. The pool area has no service, so you can't really order a drink while lazing around. Being far from the city center, I was surprised to find that the hotel had not a single shop offering amenities that guests might need: toothbrush, pads, swimwear. They are losing a good revenue opportunity and the guests are losing readily available products they might be in need to.||Overall, this is a decent hotel. I really like the area and the structure but I would hype the services and create new revenue...
