Novotel Itu Terras de São José Golf & Resort — Hotel in Região Imediata de Sorocaba

We've stayed for about a week there. The staff was great, the recreational staff very attentive and our kid had a great time. The food and drinks also great. Unfortunately the sauna was closed so I couldn't test it

The gym is quite Small containing mostly cardio equipment (running, walking, step) as well as a single multistage equipment). Almost zero free weights. I had to hire an external gym ( very nice close by named Mamute Gym) to really pump some iron.

Comparing to other similar resorts we found the room much smaller.

Internet was quite slow and I preferred to use my hotspot.

The elevators cannot handle the number of guests — always overcrowded and very slow. Staff was fine, but nothing remarkable; I honestly can’t recall a single person who stood out with extra energy or attentiveness. The pet fee is excessive, and the worst part was being asked to wait for a pet kit only to receive a single diaper. It would have been better to provide nothing at all — calling that a “pet kit” feels disrespectful.

On the positive side, the food is excellent, and the rooms are very good. The facilities work well for families with children, but I would not recommend it for business...
