This hotel has been the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel. When you first get in, the carpet to the hotel is old and beat up. Stains and nasty smell through out the halls ways. When we go to the room it got even worse. I will list out first all the things we walked into. Then I will go over our experience with management/staff. The beds had hair all over them, dead skin, and lipstick. The blankets had not been washed and smelt terrible . Outside patio had cigarette buds. Microwave had hair and lint in it. The sinks were clogged & toilet. The remotes had backs missing and tapped up. They also didn't work, so you couldn't turn on the TV. The pool just like ever other review notes it's very dirty, rusty on stairs and lights (my daughter cut her foot on rusty screw!) The game room down stairs is a joke. Pool table beat up with duplicates of the same balls, no triangle to rack the balls, fuse ball table has ball all beat up that stops rolling, ping pong table rackets destroyed. It's clear management doesn't care about guest or stay. If you are still reading this review, save your self time and go to Chris Park. Beautiful hotel, clean, and exactly what a hotel experience should be like. Ok now let's talk about management. They act like they care about your experience. They don't, when we raised all our concerns they basically brushed it off. Sent cleaning person to our room and we had to call again because they missed the cigarette buds and didn't clean well. When we showed manager all the pictures, he just wrote down on a piece of scratch paper some concerns, then proceeded to check his cell phone and not taking things seriously. We brought up our daughter's foot getting cut and was like yeah we should be able to fix this stuff. We asked for discount or compensation for such an awful experience. They said you have to deal with Expedia. Which we did and Expedia said finish our stay and then after then Expedia and hotel would communicate. If hotel was willing to discount or compensate they would. We get an email today saying management refuses to do anything. It's clear this place just wants to take your money and doesn't care putting clients experience first. I mean you have to call up front to figure out what wifi password is and wifi is bad. The simple standard things you should expect from a hotel are missing. Save your self your hard earn money and go to Chris Park hotel! You'll regret staying at Home...
Read moreThis beautiful hotel is located between 12 and 20 minute drive from the center of Campos do Jordão. ||||I strongly recommend arriving during the day as the winding uphill roads are not always lit and there were a few very large pot holes. By the third night I had grown accustomed to the roads and hence felt more comfortable driving at night. ||||The hotel is large and the staff are quite friendly, but because the hotel is so large even at a busy weekend the feeling was that the hotel was quite empty. The lighting system is operated by automatic sensors, so at night it was a bit creepy to get to our room, as long stretches of the hallways were dark (definitely do not watch The Shinning before you go! There is even a huge abandoned property nearby which was a sad sight and quite creepy to drive past at night). ||||The room are very spacious but the decoration is very dated, apart from the bathrooms which seemed to have been recently remodeled. Our package included breakfast and dinner. The dinning area has stunning views but could also use some updating, as could the crockery which was often stained or cracked. The breakfast was good and the dinner was ok. Drinks were not included in the dinner package (no water or juice) and at R$8 a glass of juice I expected it to be freshly squeezed. However, once I complained they did freshly squeeze one glass for my son. ||||There hotel offers entertainment for children and the staff was super attentive and invited my son to join in. We wanted to spend time together and with friends, so he did not join them, but I thought it was a nice touch.||||Overall, I would probably opt for something closer to town in future, but I did...
Ele é bem perto do hotel abandonado Mont Blanc, dá pra ir apé e ver as ruínas pra quem gosta.
