Pousada do Cedro — Hotel in Região Imediata de Taubaté-Pindamonhangaba

Being our wedding anniversary, I was looking for somewhere calm and comfortable to spend three days of just relaxing after some pretty hectic and tiring weeks. ||||First of all the surroundings are amazing, truly in the middle of nature. You take a bit to get there, especially if you're driving yourself, nonetheless it's worth it! The "pousada" is charming and has few rooms which is even nicer as there aren't a lot of people around!||||We found a beautiful and comfortable room with amazing views, queen bed (not king), Jacuzzi with mountain view, excellent bathroom with a very good shower and all the amenities you would expect from a place like this (flat screen tv, dvd player with dvd menu, sound system, mini bar, etc). The really cool thing is that the window next to the bed is huge and gives out straight to the beautiful mountains! ||||Breakfast is included in the price and was VERY good. We also had dinner there and it was also very nice (we had some really good pasta), tad expensive but very worth it considering the experience. They also have an outdoor swimming pool and a warm Jacuzzi with some really cool views. ||||Overall, a great place to stay if you are looking to relax and have some quality time with your loved one. ||||Only downside: Far from the rest of towns and not many activities available (this is a place to rest...

We had a nice experience at Pousada do Cedro, the highlights are:||+ nice atmosphere and view||+ jacuzzi´s location and view||+ beautiful and charming decoration of the following facilities: reception, dinning room, main balcony||+ friendly and "ready to help" staff||+ great touch of sophistication on drinks and dishes of the hotel´s birtro||||- the room is at the average of charming hotels but with a downside: the ofuro is not integrated to the rest of the room (for example you can´t watch a movie or listen to music using the TV/Audio system they have inside the room), the ofuro is part of the restroom (what is not very charming) with no access to the balcony (they missed the chance of taking advantage of the nice view and integration with nature)||- the city doesn´t offer many options of activities||- hotel´s bistro price is expensive||- when we visited this hotel, the menu had a very limited...

It is a small lodge separated from the center of the city (almost a village) of Santo Antonio do Pinhal, on the Mantiqueira Hills in São Paulo. Besides nice installations - cozy rooms, swimming pool, sauna, massage, jacuzzi with a view of the forest - it has an outstanding restaurant. Lead by an italian chef, you can taste great, and i mean great, italian food. ||||All staff is very well prepared, and make you feel very comfortable. The place is so quiet (no children under 12 allowed) that if any of the guests are a bit noisy, you can hear them... It is possible to live with that, but if other guests are calm, the place gets perfect.||||Good for resting, for exercising (trekking, biking, adventure run) and for eating well. Sure...
