Hotel Apriltsi — Hotel in Apriltsi

The complex lobby and outside area/ swimming pool were very nice and the views simply stunning. However, don't expect any English to be spoken at reception and restaurant (we kind of got by with Russian). The tennis court was being refurbished so we could not use it. The table tennis table belongs in a museum and was located in a very smelly basement - too unpleasant to use. The pool table was in a dilapidated storage room so also not usable. The "jacuzzi" is simply part of the pool with a few jets (we expected a hot tub) so from a facilities point of view we felt let down. Service was ok but could have been better, no concierge to help with the suitcase to the 3rd floor (and no lifts either), tried asking for a lift down to bus station on departure (hotel located on a steep hill and road had lots and lots of potholes) but they only could call a cab, it was only a 7 min walk, so taxi not really worth while. On the other hand they were very helpful in taking messages and let us use the phone to get in touch with our guide. Единственото хубаво нещо ОКОЛО хотела е гледката. Хотела стар, без отопление никъде, персонала ужасен-намусен и крив, храната бедна и без разнообразие, прави се само скара. Върха на сладоледа е че на 27.04.19 навръх Великден в ресторанта собствебика опънал софра с няколко госпожи, а гостите няма къде да седнат да вечерят. Същия господин сложил табела разбранено пушенето, а той пуши пури и цигари с дамите на неговата маса. Гостите един по един си тръгнаха от ресторанта, най-вече с малките деца..Персонала обслужваше него, а деугите чакаха салата 1 час. Когато попитах намусената сервитьорка защо тези господа пушат при положение, че не може тя с насмешка отвърна "Еми той е собственика", помолих да му се шредаде ако е възможно да не го правят в ресрорант пълен с хора, които вечерят. След минута той дойде до мен и пред всички хора в ресторанта ми се развика "Тряя ли ресторанта да се съобразяя с тебе, кат не ти харесва стааай и изчезвай". Освен аз всички бяха потресени наоколо и казаха, че цял ден продължавал този "пир" и поведение въпросния господина. И всичко това в навечерието на празника, озгонени и оставена без вечеря. Никога повече няма да стъпим в този ужасяващ хотел!!! Съветвам Ви и вие да...

The hotel definitely needs a refresh asap. Also rooms are quite cold. But! Food in the restaurant is homemade like in my grandma's house, people are super polite and make you feel comfortable, view is fantastic... Having bad experience with so many places with horrible service and bad kitchen during the last couple of months, I really could close my eyes about the old...
