Even with budget accommodation I'd expect our room to be ready on arrival, it wasn't.||Although Harmony Hills is cheap, this doesn't mean it should be unsafe. 2 out of our party (including myself) fell over on the incredibly slippery tiles on the stairs and around the pool area. We also witnessed a cleaner fall over quite badly on the wet tiles. There were no warning signs of this risk anywhere, even when cleaning. I would think twice about taking children here for this reason, and the fact that there is no lifeguard at the pool.||||Food and drink was very good and great value for money.||||Staff were generally (but not always) rude and unhelpful and even threatening at times.||||There was little communication when the restaurant wasn't open for whatever reason, which was a pain when theres almost nothing else near by. Sometimes they held events such as wine tasting but we didn't know it was on until the last minute.||||The only upside to this trip was The Elbarr a short walk away. If you find yourself at Harmony Hills, seek it out. It's run by a wonderful family who will help you arrange trips and reasonably priced travel to the coast where there's more going on. The hotel certainly won't be accommodating in this...
Read moreLovely place. They really get the basics right and care for their guests. The tasteful music adds a nice atmosphere, and it's not loud (why do so many other places think that people like loud, 'doosh doosh' music at all times?). The pool is very clean and it's large. Plenty of movable umbrellas (another critical aspect that many other places get wrong!). The food is very good and also very fairly priced. The staff are extremely friendly and well organised. Location is perfect... you can stay in the resort if you want to relax in a village setting, or drive 10mins to either Albena or Kranevo for a busier beach vibe (people that complain about the location basically just booked the wrong resort for their requirements). The gardens are beautiful and very well maintained. They even have special glasses to keep your beer cool by the pool! A lot of thought and care has gone into this resort, and as I say, they get all the basics right and it makes for a lovely holiday. We'll be sad to leave this Sunday, but we'll be back for sure! Harmony Hills - Highly...
Read moreWe used to own an apartment at Harmony Hills and only sold last year and what a relief we did. The management are a disgrace and have run the place into the ground. Whoever thought it was a good idea to concrete round the pool is a bellend beyond belief as you can't walk on it with bare feet. The restaurant is pathetically poor and having sent back food twice is unacceptable. Microwave lasagne frozen in the middle was sent back and the management complained to us for complaining. Cold yellow madras curry was disgusting but that too was sent back but the chef isn't to blame its us! ||If you are stupid enough to go to HH then you get what you deserve. This place was brilliant a few years ago, but now everyone who we talked to was unhappy. The restaurant was empty most evenings and the bar too. This place is run by an idiot beyond words and has ruined it...
