Restaurant Krasteva House — Hotel in Berkovitsa

"House Krastevata" in the town of Berkovitsa is a 2-star hotel. The hotel is housed in an old house, well maintained and beautiful. I haven't stayed at the hotel and I can't give a review for it. It has a restaurant where you can have lunch or dinner. The restaurant is in the courtyard of the hotel, and the yard is rich in greenery. We had dinner at the restaurant and I think this is one of the few places where it works in the evening and you can dine in the city. The staff was polite and we were served relatively quickly. I had a delicious lamb soup (I think it’s called Chorma) followed by a green salad with a perfect dressing (just the right mix of vinegar and oil—something I rarely get that well while cooking myself) and a lamb roast (melted on the tongue) with garlic potatoes (perfectly cooked and seasoned). This is the best restaurant in Bregovitsa! It has a very nice decor, very well kept and very clean. Even so it has a traditional feel to it.
