Krimski Guest House And Bungalows — Hotel in Byala

This is literally the most abominable place I have been to! AVOID!

The reasons for which I would tell you to stay away: LACK OF MANNERS. When I was "checked-in" a girl just took me from the yard to the room without saying a word like "welcome", "please" or asked me if I needed anything. She just said "пожалуйста" (please) in Russian and that was it, she disappeared. I was not impressed, but I was there for 1 night, so I did not think too much about it. UNBEARABLE STENCH It seems that there are three hounds living in the property because the stench of a wet dog that has not been properly groomed and peed on the floor far too many times was simply unbearable. Fortunately,this was just in the hallway and the yard, but not the room. SUBPAR CLEANLINESS AND LACK OF MAINTENANCE When I entered the room the floor was covered with dead butterflies, which was not a big deal, but still it was not great.The mattresses look awful, you can see the photos below. In the morning I decided to take a shower after I found out that there is no toilet paper in the bathroom, but by the time I finished showering the whole place was flooded and I had to jump on a raft to reach the shores of the bath pond and get into my room. LACK OF BASIC AMENITIES The amenities were simply missing. NO TOILET PAPER. No mosquito net,which in Bulgaria equals a death sentence during the summer. No air conditioner. The towels(image attached) I found in the room, were not even big enough to wrap them around you which would have been fine if the bathroom was not shared. Needless to say, it is nobody's dream to have a bunch of strangers staring at you covering yourself with a handkerchief size towel. There are no individual fridges in the rooms, which means that if you want to cool a drink or any food you need to leave it unattended in the shared fridge in the hallway and hope for the best. A PACK OF HOUNDS READY TO CHEW YOU I was a split second away from being bitten by three huge hounds on my way to the room. Fortunately I saw them coming and I stayed outside the gate until the girls working at the property took them inside. Now I know why the stench was so unbearable. There was no "sorry", no "are you okay after this near death experience?". Nothing was said, but I was just happy to leave the yard in one piece so I just dashed to my room.

Sadly, some of the things such as the smell of dog pee cannot be photographed so I will leave it to your imagination, for the rest you can check the photos attached. My general advice is to STAY AWAY FROM THIS SO...

We booked to stay here for one week but barely managed to stay here one night.We hardly slept as the pillows were stained brown & the mattresses were only fit for the tip.||We only stayed as it was to late to book anywhere else. we hardly slept for fear of catching something.||We only got a refund after they threatened us with not writing any bad reviews but they still charged us for one nights stay. the promotional photos of the bungalow do not reflect reality. everything seems to have been collected from the garbage, the mess covers the whole location, the surroundings resemble the favelas of New Delhi. A place you should stay away from for the rest...
