Management Decisions & Lack of Supervision Degrading Hotel's Star Rating PROS · Clean property, room & bathroom 2 type 2 charging stations on location in the outside parking lot (no idea about if it's against a charge or included into the room price, please check with concierge); I have noticed the outside charging station at our departure only. 32" Flat TV, acceptable Wi-Fi signal in case you decide to watch on your laptop/tablet Netflix, etc. Interesting Bulgarian wine list at restaurant in the evening
CONS· This is the 5th time we stood at this hotel an every time we had no complaints. However, sadly to say but this time was the worst time ever and we decided not to return and will definitely will NOT recommend this hotel any more. Twin Room & Bathroom: Twin Room - our room had on one wall visible cracks on it; Shower cabin is spilling on the bathroom floor; Air con we need to stop since the minimum heat was still to high Breakfast: We were told that breakfast is served until 10 am daily. Sunday morning at 9:35 we couldn't find anything on the buffet fact which we have pointed out to the staff and to the reception and kindly asked them three times to refresh the buffet. After 20 minutes one of the staff members told us that "there will be no more food to be refreshed" and at 10:10 brought us a a-la-carte menu for breakfast with a limited offer of choices. We were not the only facing this surprise during Sunday morning and which also received such "wonderful new rule of the management". Practically between 09:30 - 10:00 the hotel is not refreshing the buffet anymore. So be aware in case you still decide to choose this "4 star" hotel. Breakfast is decent but limited in options and the same each day. Of course we were not told at arrival about this "new management rule" although we have paid room & breakfast. Swimming pool: The time table during winter time changed: 10:00 am - 05:00 pm. Arriving at the swimming pool in the morning we noticed that unattended kids were jumping in the water and the noise in the swimming pool area was impossible to bear therefore we decided to skip this indoor facility which also included in the...
Read moreWe had an amazing family holiday for a couple of days in this hotel. Room was spacious and clean. Wi-fi was perfect in the entire hotel area.||Pool was clean and quite big. Water is not mineral but it is great fun for family with kids. They need more sun beds, because if there are more than 10 people in the pool area you might not find a free one.||||What we did not like was:||1. Bathroom shower was quite disassembled and was very difficult to keep it in one piece. Not properly installed in our room.||2. Water in the shower did not have enough pressure.||3. They did not have an alternative of the pillows type (we asked if we can have ones that are not so high but they did not had any).||||Everything else was perfect.||Staff was polite and very kind.||Hotel restaurant was great, food was delicious and fresh.||Breakfast was also great in the morning.||||I would recommend this hotel if you are visiting the Dryanovo town or area.||I don't think there is a...
Read moreNice looking hotel, decent package of amenities (those you usually find at 4 stars hotels, you find here in this 3 star rated one). Located near residential area/small traditional houses, there's a small shop few minutes away. Very clean, very nice air conditioner unit (could have been more quiet at night, though). Comfy beds, but the pillows were only available in very high/hard variety. Unfortunately, the wi-fi, while behaving decent at first, proved out to be really bad for the rest of our stay - very poor connection strength (dropping frequently to 1/5 wifi signal lines) and disconnecting frequently - when it was working it was fine, the problem was that it wasn't quite working all the time. Breakfast was poor both in terms of selection and in quality; dinner was good (big selection of items, more than decent quality), but unfortunately the menu does not contain photos of the items (which is a mandatory thig for anyone visiting from...
