Surely this is a place where you would come back over and over again not only for an overnight but to enjoy the relaxing atmosphere and comfort. A lovely hotel in a quiet location just few km away from the city center and the ethnographic complex Etara as well. The owners are really friendly and welcoming; rooms are spacious and kept spotlessly clean, comfortable bed and a large luxurious shower. The hotel offers free parking in the inner courtyard, free Wi-Fi in the entire hotel area. Evening meals also available in the hotel, great food with a traditional selection of the Bulgarian cuisine and served by the owner himself. In conclusion, it was a very pleasant experience for all of us. Read moreWe stayed just for one night in Hitar Petar hotel in Gabrovo but this was enough to estimate the excellent services provide by the owner of the place and his wife. They both are hospitable, nice people who will take care of you to make your stay there as pleasant as possible. The room was clean and newly furnished, bathroom was excellent. About food you can have breakfast and/or dinner on spot and you can choose from as menu a la carte. Dishes are prepared with local, very delicious products. While you are enjoying your meal you can have a friendly relaxing chat with the owners. The hotel is located very close to a number of places worth to be seen – the Open Air Ethnographic museum “Etar”, Sokolski monastery, Interactive museum of Industry in Gabrovo. Read morePros: Rooms are clean and interior is stylish. Bahtrooms are good size. Balcony has a nice view to yard and mountain. Communication with staff was good - called me twice to check on me before my arrival. Place is quiet and good for rest.
