Hotel Gabrovo — Hotel in Gabrovo

For me this is a motel. Very poor breakfast..actually the hotel chooses for what your breakfast will look like. Unfortunately we stayed 5 nights so we "enjoyed" that part of their hospitality 3 times. And it is just grilled bread and cheese if you are wondering. No questions ask about allergies, diet whatsoever . ||||Anyhow, very poor room condition . Very old furniture, all types of crazy color on the walls and TV is that small, that you gotta sit next to it if you may wanna watch it. Bathroom was ok size, but moldy here and there. ||||The owner of the hotel is an absolute c**nt and made us feel so unwelcome. (he actually told me that is not ok for me to refill small bottle of water from the dispenser by the lobby. There was no cups next to it if you may wonder again)||||The whole feeling of this place is just very disappointing. I wouldn't pay any price or even stay there for free again, just because it made us sad every day. The only reason we stayed is because it was paid and booked by a friends who poorly misjudged it. ||||To not sound so bitter there's two positive things I can mention: some of the staff are actually nice and helpful and we had a big balcony. We are not a picky people but we want our money to meet the expectations.||Friendly and helpful staff didn't cut the chase. ||Old and broken furniture... Very poor breakfast. A very tired, old hotel that looks like a former state rest station. They apparently kept the furniture from that period of the socialist state 35-40 years ago. The beds are the worst I have ever tried. It shouldn't be called a bed at all - very, very hard, creaks terribly, and you can feel large pieces of iron and wires moving inside the very tired mattress set on a board. Decent cleanliness but does not deserve more than 2 stars. The pictures in booking were taken 30 years ago at least, the reviews are fake obviously. The shown restaurant is not working. There are no shops or other restaurants in a walking distance.

Много изхабен, стар хотел, който прилича на бивша държавна почивна станция. Явно пазят мебелите от онзи период на социалистическата държава преди 35-40 години. Леглата са най-лошите, които съм пробвала. Изобщо не трябва да се нарича легло - много, много твърдо, скърца ужасно и се усещат едри железа и жици, които се движат вътре в много износен матрак, поставен върху дъска. Прилична чистота, но не е за повече от 2 звезди.
