Me and my spouse stayed at Elegance Spa Hotel for a couple of nights during January 2020.||||I can't say that we were overwhelmed by the quality of the hotel, we found it rather (barely) acceptable, but the free use of spa area made it look like a decent deal.||||Pros: ||-Free use of spa facilities (sauna, steam bath, jacuzzi, hot beds, cold bucket shower)||-Breakfast included||-Room provided TV, air conditioning, hair dryer and basic bathroom amenities||-Value for money room quality||-Free wifi, good enough signal to stream youtube, netflix etc.||-Euro currency friendly||||Cons:||-No sign to guide to hotel so when you pass the bridge after entering Ognianovo you have to be carefull not to miss it.||-Most of the staff had poor or no understanding of English at all, some spoke a little bit of Greek so it was hard to communicate. ||-Small, obsolete, out dated TV model ||-Two single beds sided together instead of a double bed.||-We didn't expect rich variety on the breakfast buffet for that amount of money but quality needs to be improved. Coffee was available through vending machine while orange juice was like orange tablets dissolved on water.||-Rusty keys stuck on the doors to the pool and to the relaxing area.||-Spa facilities were ok but they were only available untill 18:00.||-Finally, i left the massage experience for last. ||Hotel provided massage services for a fee. There was only one massage therapist available so if you were a couple you could not enjoy the treatment together at the same time.||Even though the massage therapist did a good job (especially if next time will not interrupt the procedure to answer his phone), the massage area was sad and miserable. ||It was located inside a poor room on the basement that had only one massage bed next to (one!) gym equipment.||No candles,no gentle sounds and lights, just balcan ethnic pop.||Walkway just outside was used as changing room for pool and sauna so while you were enjoying massage services, relaxing was out of the question due to the yelling and the whole fuss.||||Overall, we consider our stay at Elegance Spa Hotel above average but only because of the relatively low prices and the free use of pool and...
Read more7 of us on a bicycle ride stayed here. We found it to be a nice clean, quite place with good service and good food in the attached restuarant. ||Things to keep in mind, the staff speaks limited English, Natalia is a fluent English speaker, some of the owners children speak enough that they can assist when our limited Bulgarian was confusing things. This seemed to be the cleanest most upbeat place in the village. the hot tub and the pool were nice, the rooms were comfortable and had a nice view of the area including the resoviour across the street.||Coffee drinks such as Lattes are inexpensive but not included in the free breakfast, our group being from Seattle ordered multiple rounds.||The local yogurt with wild berries was super tasty.||The Rakia was inexpensive so we probably drank more than we should have.||Overall a lovely place for a...
Read moreThe hotel doesn't deserve four stars at all. Elegance!! Spa?? The bathroom in our room was dirty. You are allowed to use one little soap with the size of a quarter for five days and refills are not allowed. You have one big towel and wash cloth doesn't exist in their vocabulary. If you ask for a blanket the answer is that they allow only one per room. Furthermore the lounge chairs by the pool are dirty. The water in the pool should of been mineral but it's not at all and the little as I know from my chemistry class is that silver react to mineral water and change color but my silver bracelet didn't. And I was paying for a mineral water spa. In addition to all, my negative experience didn't change. The food in the restaurant it's horrible and the white stuff needs training. Therefore, if you are looking for Elegance this is the wrong...
