After checking on the internet, and verification with the staff of the local Uno-Oil fuel-station, my choice for Gotse Delchev was the Nevrokop hotel. ||Staff on the phone spoke soso-english. But the fuel-station girl where I had my coffee also called the same reception-nr (while I was trying to understand…). She acted as an impromptu translator and got my booking sorted just fine. I might owe her the priviledge of the extra-spacious room.||On Arrival, there was free, safe, visible and supervised parking in front of the hotel. Reception still had some trouble with english, but we got along just fine.||||The building (and some of the staff) probably date back to communist times, but the quality they provide is quite Good.||Room was Good, Clean and quite Spacious, albeit possibly a bit old (comfortable, is the word). The bathroom/shower probably dates back to 1980, but was Fine as well.||(I think I have a picture of the room, including the nice plastic roses on the table).||As a gimmick, the “keycard” for the electricity can not be replaced by any-old-card you still carry: It has to be the “Original” (picture).||Wifi was Good.||Staff was Friendly and helpful throughout, although limited english. ||The location is nicely in the city-centre, so walking around and finding places for coffee, dinner and a drink was Easy. ||Sleep quality was Excellent.||Breakfast was sufficient (you get a voucher, and follow the guide, you could get lost in the building). I appeared to be the only/early guest at the time and choice was a bit limited. But overall OK breakfast. ||I can recommend this hotel: Staff is friendly and helpful, and overall...

I can say that the hotel is really wonderful, i was just a bit unlucky because in front of my room is placed a carpet washer, an old woman starts at 7 washing a lot of carpets until 11.30 due to this little problem I used to wake up early everyday..|Parking and wifi are free, the receptionist doesnt speaks english well, the barman speaks spanish and one girl of the cleaning service speaks italian.|Down in the hotel you can find maria lounge bar the greatest...
Read moreMy wife and i chose an apartment - very reasonable price and great view of the town and mountains. The staff were very helpful, and there were a few restaurants nearby.||The hotel offered a car park, but you had to wait till 9.00am to get your car out, so it would be just as easy to park on the street. We liked the town and actually returned for a second stay...
