Hotel Vertical plus — Hotel in Haskovo

We had a 1 night booking, with a small kid, coming after ~6 hours of long drive, looking only for rest. Little did we know that this hotel was hosting an extremely loud party at the restaurant, where music was booming so hard that we were hearing it at the 5th floor. Since there was no chance for us to get some sleep, I had to come down and talk with the receptionist to refund us so we can be on our way. After a long and unnecessary debate on why, how, and when, and after the receptionist refused to call the manager (it was 10:30 PM, she said it was too late to call, but it apparently wasnt too late for us to rest) she accepted the refund request i made via booking. She was trying to trick us into leaving the hotel, but without being refunded, as she knew that this would count as a stay in booking's terms, and we would never see our money back. She was a lier saying that she didn't know how to refund because it was from booking, but after arguing for minutes on end, she "remembered out of the blue" and the refund was accepted... WORST PLACE EVER! STAY AWAY!

Though there are also some good aspects, this wasn't a place we'd come back to. One of the recepionists barely knew English and it took quite a long time for us to get our room. There was an unpleasant dusty smell in the elevator and our room. It was clean and comfortable but the smell bothered us. We also had a noise issue with the party taking place downstairs. We were told the party would end at midnight and that is more than late when you need rest. It continued until almost 1 am and though we were at the 5th floor it could still be heard. Breakfast could be improved. Decent stay but not one to...

Very new hotel, very large breakfast/restaurant area. Free parking. We had booked an apartment and it was not the largest we have had, but it was rather clean and well decorated. Everything in this hotel was functional and both the reception and the breakfast staff were more than helpful and pleasant. We even showed up late for breakfast one of the mornings and while the kitchen had closed already, the waitress was kind enough to offer to make us a coffee to go. Price was very reasonable. Lovely view from our apartment. Would definitely stay...
