Absolutely 5 stars. Grandma Milka and Grandpa Emil are amazing! They are so very kind, patient, and friendly. Our family of four stayed here two nights. We drove straight down after our flight into Sofia, and even though we arrived late Grandma Milka stayed up to greet us and show us around. She only speaks Bulgarian, and we speak only a few words very badly, but everything was understood. We spent the day at the Rila monastery and followed some suggestions of our host up that way for the day. That evening we cooked in the outdoor kitchen looking out over the fabulous view and beautiful garden. HIGHLIGHT- homemade Banitsa by the amazing Grandma Milka for breakfast the next morning!
