We stayed in September 2022 Pro: The hotel is really nice, the location is into the woods, easily accessible by car. The area is really nice. The rooms are good size and good quality, they were very clean. They give bathrobes, slippers and access to a fridge/minibar. The terrace and the restaurant are really nice made, with good taste. They also have a small garden with toys for little kids to play. The staff is nice and you can easily communicate in English. The breakfast was good.
Con· Everything was absolutely great until the hotel has given the opportunity to a group of 3-4 families with kids to party all days and nights as if it was their own hotel. They were loud and bossy around the restaurant in the morning, during the day they took all the toys for their uneducated kids to play with and the most outstanding fact was the hotel let them party with very loud music in the wine cellar, which was below the restaurant. But it didn't had a door, so you can imagine it was that loud that when we were dining I had to yell for my husband to hear me. We and the other tourists were visibly upset by this, Moreover, they let them party like that until 1 AM, I know that because I could hear the music in the room too, it was that loud. We were extremely disappointed by not only the lack of attitude or big ignorance the hotel staff had towards the rest of the tourists who booked there (not cheap rooms) to enjoy the peace and quiet that area and environment has and the "relax" they put in the name...
Read moreNice and modern hotel with 10 min walk from Krushuna waterfalls. Rooms were really pretty and hygienic. Airconditioning was also present. The young lady from the reception was really friendly and good in English. We stayed for dinner in the evening and they offer a broad menu with pizza, pasta, bbq, ... so choice enough. One small thing: We only had to wait for a long time (45 min after we finished eating) for the lady to come picking up our used plates so we could ask for dessert, which we found a bit strange as we were the only ones left in the restaurant (also the case at breakfast: we were the only ones there), but ok not a big deal! We just found it pitty that there were so few other guests as the hotel is so pretty and you don't find such a nice hotel in this area, that the hotel is not more booked! There's of course not much to do in the area, so 1 or 2 nights should do at this hotel to visit everything in the area (waterfalls/caves), but I'd definitely would recommend this hotel to visit these tourist...
Read moreI really don't understand the positive comments here about the food. We ordered a burger and received a tiny dry kyufte in a bun. And for the first time in my life I was given inedible fried potatoes. We complained, and the chef brilliantly responded that we should have specified how cooked the burger should be (the waiter never asked, plus the burger had pork meat in it as specified in menu so obviously it should be well done, but not triple fried). We ordered grilled vegetables, and received a plate with 90% onions and 10% peppers. They so graciously removed it from the bill (1.50 leva) after we pointed out these strange proportions. The risotto with porcini mushrooms was clearly made with reconstituted porchini and tasted watery. The behavior of the waiter was condescending at times, though he did show understanding and sympathy when we complained about the food. Overall a highly disappointing experience, made worse by the high prices and therefore high...
