We have been here 13 days now go home tomorrow. This is the first time in Bulgeria Sunny Beach area. We have had a really great Family holiday. The hotel staff are very friendly the waitress in the bar knew every evening what we were having to drink as she remembered after day one. Breakfast was repetitive but you can mix and match. The pancakes with honey are top notch. The waiters always made us feel welcome when we popped in for a drink. We had a meal in the hotel restraunt last night and it was very nice, reasonably priced. The calamari could do with a nice fish/garlic sauce. The cleaners never stop cleaning im a bit OCD myself so i felt very much at home how clean the hotel was. The pool and sunbathing area was also clean and sunbeds very comfortable. I liked the fact there was no loud music just the sound of the birds and people enjoying themselves. Me and my 2 daughters had a massage and a facial in the spa which was very cheap compared to UK price's. The lady was very professional and made us feel at ease. We highly recommend you have a treatment in the spa. We used the gym daily which had adequate equipment including a running machine. Outside the hotel there is a local super market that you can buy some waters, alcohol and fruit at very low prices. A bit further on there is another super market that sells everything . Its around 1600 meters to dolphin beach which is the start of sunny beach. Dolphin beach is a definite if your having a day at the sea with background music, luxury sunbeds and waiter service again at a reasonable cost. If you dont want to walk any further you can catch a little train that takes you along the promenade of sunny beach with lots of bars and restaurants. We went to Khan's tent one evening which was a really nice evening great food and entertainment. We opted for the set menu and it was just perfect. Book online saves you money and just catch a taxi. The views are amazing so worth a visit. | We caught a bus to Nessebar which was an experience felt like a sardine in a tin can but for 3 lev it was worth the 20 min ride. Nessebar old town is also worth a little trip out. Mini golf was also fun down on the front. Last thing thankyou to the taxi man who was recommended by the hotel for the airport transfer, he gave us his number and we could call him at anytime if we needed him to take...

Read moreWe stayed here for a week, the hotel itself is nice, very clean and the room was perfect for 2 of us. However we were given very little information on the rooms itself such as how to work the air conditioner (which lead to a VERY warm first night), or that the fridge was in the cupboard under the tv (warm drinks is not nice in this heat). The bed was comfy and the bathroom was nice. The pool was a bit cold, and people leaving towels on the sun loungers and leaving the resort for the day made finding two together an issue on some days. The location of the hotel is alright there’s not very much signage, and it’s at the top of a gravel hill which at night is very dark. (An additional bonus is that we did meet 3 lovely dogs over the course of the week on our walk up the pathway, which I LOVE) |If this was the end of our experience I’d have given 4 stars as every ‘issue’ were just small things, but alas we chose to eat in the restaurant. The food was just bad, just not very nice. The chips were cold and tasted reheated, the chicken was bland, as was the pasta. Not only this but our food was also delivered at different points and my boyfriend had almost finished his meal before I’d even gotten mine! I would have to recommend to stay away from any cocktails too as I got a strawberry daiquiri and it was STRONG 80ml in total with 25ml of alcohol made it almost undrinkable. Later in the week we’d eaten but were feeling a little peckish so we decided to get a small snack, thinking this can’t be hard. I ordered a plain flatbread and my boyfriend got a fruit salad, and believe it or not, probably the most simple things on the menu were disgusting. The flatbread was overcooked and incredibly greasy, all I could taste was oil, and the fruit salad was smothered in a whipped cream which was awful, the fruit itself was hard and neither dish looked like the pictures. |If I were to give advice to anyone staying here I’d 100% not recommend eating here it really is worth the 20 minute walk/1.5 lev bus fare into...
