Esterra Vini & Pool — Hotel in Perushtitsa

The place was pretty nice- it was calm, it was clean and the atmosphere was amazing. All the rooms were well furnished and we had a great view from the windows. The AC , the Tv and all the other electronic devices worked well. The pool was at our disposal at all times, even after the bar’s closing . Overall the facility is well organised and it met my expectations in regards to cleanliness.

The first problem- the location. This place is pretty isolated from the village . If you want to go buy anything, the closest thing is 7 km away. So if you don't have a car this will be a nightmare. There are no restaurants in the resort. Which is pretty disappointing considering the fact of its isolated location. If you think of bringing food this may be a problem, since the double suite that we booked has NO FRIDGE AND NO CUTLERY AVAILABLE. The only solution for this is that you can order food from the local restaurant, which is pretty good. But in my opinion this is a problem, since we weren't informed in advance that they don't even provide cutlery. Of course there are also some minor inconveniences, such as providing us with one toilet paper for 3 days for 4 people and loud noises at 7 am because of the preparation of the upcoming wedding but as I said, these are minor inconveniences and not...

I don't recommend it for a vacation. And I don't recommend it if you are new to the region(or the country). It looks promising but it's more like a guest house or cabin in the mountains than a hotel for which we booked it. There is no restaurant to eat, no working bar when we stayed so after we got the key to the room we run out to search place to eat which was awful as we travelled a lot before arriving and we were tired. There is no reception as well and at first we couldn't find anyone. We had an additional door next to the bathroom which was closed (it was kind of creepy to be honest). Also it was hard to find - there is a really small sign and the first thing you see is an abandoned building which is not very welcoming. 😅 I will definitely not go back and I was really happy that we were staying only for the night. More happy that we didn't choose it for...

We arrived Friday evening around 19:30 ready for dinner. We’ll turns out they don’t offer any food, they only have a bar but sadly it wouldn’t work because the owners were there and had a private guest party... Actually it smelled like barbecue because the very same owners were making dinner for them and their guest as we were told that to get food we have to go to the town nearby (Perushtica). Then we were led to our room, pretty descent, but of course there is one catch- no bathroom in the room, instead it’s in the corridor, shared with another room - that gladly we were informed no one would stay in! Followed by there was no warm water and electricity during the entire stay…. Overall, suggest it only to someone you don’t like much…We were supposed to stay the weekend, but as you can imagine left at 8:30 the next morning on the hunt...
