Хотел “БАЦ“ — Hotel in Petrich

Affordable 4-stars SPA hotel with restaurant and gambling.|We choose that hotel because of the SPA (swimming pool, sauna, steam bath...)|During the reservation through booking.com everything was great. They even not charged my credit card after reservation.|But after a few hours they called me to inform that swimming pool is at renovation or something and will be unavailable during the stay. OK. Without swimming pool is not too bad. We'll enjoy the sauna and steam bath, and maybe some massages as well.|The next day, after our arrival (after 15:20h) after we go in the hotel and they give us a great welcome choice: pick a room (best of two). |After that our vacation turned bad.|The girl on reception was unable to start heating of sauna after a hour and a half, because of malfunction in main heater.|Only choice we had left was steam bath, but there's no without hot water at local showers.|When we asked for explanation, they offer us to give us some discount (5 Euro tops). As you can imagine that was insulting for us. Then discount glowed up to 10 Euros. Because of late hour and a fact that we were tired we accepted that and decided to go to sleep.|At the morning we were wake up by noises like upstairs were construction work in progress. At a 4th floor is situated a gym. Very uncommon and very noisy.|We had ask for a WIFI connection and there's many SSIDs with a passwords, they told us to grab a nearest one and try to connect with a long password (visible only at lobby at sticker, near to the lift).|Internet connection was terrible between 30Mbps (for a little) and 1Mpbs (at most cases).||Strongly I do not recommend staying here...

Friendly staff and we had two decent nights sleep. However the place is run down - the “VIP” room we stayed in had power sockets half out of the wall and not working. No hot water in the bathroom sink and have to phone reception to get air con turned on and off (which was faulty on our second day anyway). Card payments are not accepted - cash only. We didn’t know beforehand and we were chased several times for the payment even before we had a chance to find an ATM. My GF overheard a guy trying to get a sandwich for his kid from the restaurant. They would not make it without payment and did not know what it cost. They would not charge it to the room. Breakfast was very poor - sandwich OR omelette OR muesli. That’s it - you’re only allowed one dish. Funniest thing ever was when they tried to stop us leaving the hotel until they’d checked the room - that is a first in over 40 years of travelling 🤣🤣 Stay there if you have to - but turn up with cash and assume you have to go out for everything. Like I said, the staff were friendly - so it must be the management who need to rethink how they run their hotel before they go out of business. Suffice to say - we won’t go...

Been there twice hopefully never again. They tried to charge us rooms even though we are with the group reservation and company is paying it for everyone. Reception is a disaster( check-in is too slow and sometimes they take the details again as they didn't do it properly in the first place). There is nobody at the reception after 22pm and in order to get into the hotel you either go trough casino or sleep outside. The single room we booked for a driver ended up being some storage unit. They do not have a restaurant and the rooms are dirty. Air-conditioning is broken since the summer begun. The location is a 15-20minut walk from the city center. I do not understand what exactly makes...
