Mantar complex, Marikostinovo village next to Struma highway, on a way to Greece. I would say that this complex gives you good option compared to the ticket price. There are two swimming pools. 50 meter long (Olympic size) + one small and shalow pool for kids (with a slide). There is also a beach volleyball pitch and a tennis court, with artificial surface. The pirce i paid for an adult was 15 BGN (7.5 EUR), but i higly advise you to make sure what the prices are before you go to Mantar complex. it becomes more and more popular in South-West part of Bulgaria, because many of the other options in Sandanski or/and Petrich cities were restricted for some reasons I beleive conected with COVID-19 pandemic. Further to this in the area of the cimplex we were not obliged to wear face mask. Some more usuful info: 99%, i beleive, you will go by car. There are plenty parking lots on the street and nearby the complex. It is free of charge. Quality of the water is good. There are three girls in my family. None of them had any medical complaints after using the pool. If you are a swim lover make sure you will get a swimming gogles because hygenic substances added to the water may give unpleasant eye feeling. It is normal for general public pools. No problem. It is very good that when all the seat/umbrealas are occupated complex closes for newcommenrs. So make sure that before you go make a call and check if there free places. We did it over a phone call. There are two line dedicated for swimmers There is food bar. Quality is average and prices are normal. The cuisine is for wide variety of tastes. In one word - fast food. Pizzas, salad, meat. The problem i found which MUST be solved by the owner i think, is the existence of one male restroom (00) and one women restroom (00). Every time there was a line of waiting people. Hygene is acceptable. Pets are not allowed. This is sad. SUMMARY - our family would have gone to Mantar...

The hotel is located near the border with Greece, in an area that does not stand out. It ia modern and has a wide offer of facilities. The room is large and nicely decorated, minibar with rich offer, spa center, restaurant with long hours. The spa has a pool, several saunas and special showers, jacuzzi area and Japanese baths plus fiu can enjoy therapies. Pool water was very pleasant, thermal. The entire complex is huge, they give you a map for it. The staff was nice (they could smile more!) , good communication also over e-mail to book. The breakfast was a feast. I could just say they had 10 types of cheese and stop there. But there were many meats, vegetables, pies, pancakes, eggs on different ways, drinks The price is more or less in line. Now, what was not so great. Location doea not give many options around foe leisure or food. The room was not aired and the bathroom had a very bad strong smell for our entire stay. The spa needed some wiping at 7 in the evening, lots of water and some dirt on the ground, wet sauna not turned on, Japanese bath was incredibly hot (compared to onsen, probably on top range of 43-45 degrees). Kids running around the stairs until 22:40 screaming and gong tens of times with the elevator up and down. Room next to restaurant area used for smoking during...

We used the camping facilities. The camp places are well maintained, with grass, but not all of them have shade. There is a place for 1 barbeque, a foyer and 2 sinks for dishes. The toilet is ok, except the sinks that lack soap and the shower that doesn’t have a leaking system and no hangers for your personal belongings. Also, the showers are a bad experience because the system is full with limestone, low quality products and the water flows everywhere…. I would suggest them improving the bathroom conditions, for a better client experience. The outdoor pool is big, also there is a separate pool for kids. Next to the pool there is a bar and...

Exelent place for relax. Very kind and warm attitude from the staff. Everything-inside in the Spa, and outside, around pool and grass-ground was clear and tidy. We used the capmer-stop, and was compleatly satisfied. Probably in the middle of summer will be too Hot, because haven't enough shadows and big trees, BUT We hope in the next years they will grow. We going to visit again!
