A beautiful hotel situated on the rowing lake around 5km outside of Plovdiv old town, taxi @10-15lev. The hotel is very clean and well maintained., the bedroom cleaning is impeccable . The food/breakfast was very good with a good selection, the pool area is quiet & relaxing with complimentary pool towels for guests.
The gym is well equipped & we had a couple of massages and would highly recommended Yanna who gave us amazing aromatherapy massages.
The staff are attentive & helpful although some limited English speaking amongst the men particularly.
Just a couple of things the hotel could please consider - the sofa bed for our teenagers was incredibly uncomfortable, and so squeaky it kept us awake. Our children resorted to pulling the mattress into the floor to sleep. These require updating.
The bikes could be cheaper to hire or give complimentary as it would be expensive to hire for a morning- four bikes for a family of four @ 80lev - 4 hrs. We didn’t cycle around the lake because of this.
The views.. whichever floor you stay on there sadly isn’t a creek view as the trees are far too tall so block out the wonderful view. If the hotel lopped these & shaped the trees it would really open up the view for little cost / please consider this - feedback from your visitors constantly comment on this area & it could easily be resolved.

Read moreI recently stayed at Landmark Creek Hotel & Wellness in Plovdiv for a leisurely trip, and I was thoroughly impressed. The hotel is nestled by the city’s Rowing Channel, offering tranquil views of water and surrounding hills—a perfect setting if you’re visiting for the Hills of Rock festival or outdoor adventures.
From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, helpful, and professional, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. My room was spacious, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully designed.
Breakfast was a standout—buffet style with a wide variety, high quality, and pleasant outdoor seating overlooking the creek. The hotel’s outdoor swimming pool was clean and inviting, perfect for cooling off after a day of exploring.
I really appreciated the full complement of facilities—spa and wellness treatments, fitness centre, free parking, and optional bike rentals to explore the canal park.
The only minor downside: during my stay, the pool closed relatively early in the evening at around 18:30, which felt a bit early during hot weather.
Overall, this boutique 4-star is a relaxing retreat for leisure travellers—especially those who want modern amenities, serene natural surroundings, and...
Read moreThe rooms are outdated for being a 4star. I visited during oct 2022 so the pool was out of service too. My view from the room wasn't great either.
Unfortunately, the major issue with this hotel is the restaurant. The breakfast is basic, nothing like the pictures on the website.
I ate fish and chips at the restaurant, which did not taste right. I assumed it may be due to local variety of fish, but it had a strong fishy odour so I did not finish. I went back to my room after dinner and started to puke all night. It affected my stay as I wasn't well to site see the next day too.
I shared my food poisoning experience when checking out, but the assistant wasn't concerned. She stated, "Our restaurant serves good food with no problems." A hotel should accept the customers' experience and review without disregarding the food wasn't cooked properly.
Hopefully, the hotel will improve their services and stops food poisoning guest.
