The food was amazing at every meal and you definitely were full afterwards. ||A great location near to Veliko Tărnovo but far enough away (about 15 minutes by car) that it’s calm and peaceful.||The rooms have everything you need and if there’s something you want, like a knife or plate, then ask and it’s there. Nothing is too much trouble. We stayed in this wonderful place for one night on our way back from Sofia. The place was so quiet and peaceful away from the city noise. Beautiful and well maintained garden. Various activities are available to the guests - darts, billiards, outdoor pool, sun terrace. I am in love with the style of this place - natural materials are used, the architecture of the past has been preserved. Bev and Graеmе are wonderful hosts, hospitable, ready to meet any wishes of the guests. We pre-ordered dinner and breakfast. There is a great selection of international dishes and Graеmе has excellent cooking skills. Everything was presented with care and beautifully arranged. The property is listed on all booking platforms, but after you book and pay (which is non-refundable for the following days), you receive an SMS from the owner stating that she does not work with platforms. You are required to cancel the booking and request a refund by yourself. The owner said it's not her businees to deal with the platforms and seems to be only concerned about the money and not that your plans are ruined, which is not very hospitable. Additionally, she does not speak Bulgarian, which is a minimum requirement for doing business in Bulgaria, especially when communicating by phone.
