This place is a scam and a ghost town. Had a misfortune of spending a day here and would strongly advice anyone from coming here.
The map on their website is showing a mini-city with all that you would ever need inside one facility. In reality, most of the shops are closed or did not even exist in the first place. I took the liberty of crossing out the lies on the map, and attached some photos of "shops" and "cafes"
The room that was given to a family with a child did not have a children's bed, was dirty, filled with old furniture that was falling apart, had random cardboard boxes in it. It had no phone to contact reception, no hairdryer and smelled like mold so bad that it was impossible to be inside for long periods of time. To access the room, you had to go through several dark corridors, light switches in which were not working.
Hotel staff refused to change the room. They had to be reminded about the smell problem several times, and in the end could not even provide a canned air freshener.
The ATM in the lobby was not working, all the facilities said that card payments are temporary not working. At the end of the day it turned out that they have not been working for over a week, and there were no plans to fix them.
Final slap to the face is that despite claiming having exchange service, they refused to accept Euro in cash, and directed us instead to the village, which was "only" a 20 minute walk along a road that did not have a sidewalk and was not wide enough for two card two drive side by side.
The facilities themselves have lots sick-looking cats, overgrown greenery that encroaches on the sidewalk and filled with spiders that look like they can take on a small bird.
The "all-inclusive" dining hall had a garbage bag and a woman's hygienic product lying on the floor, and when guests arrived at 14:00 (official time when lunch is starting that was given on reception) the workers were surprised to see the people, and only brought out the food at 14:45. There was NO choice in what food we got, only a grilled sausage with cucumbers and tomatoes.
The pools did look nice, and several restaurants were there, but we could not verify their quality as they refused to accept card payments or euros.
I am very skeptical that the hotel meets the 4 star requirement, and would strongly advice anyone from...
Read moreHow this place got 4 * is beyond me. It is a complete ghost town, even though it was sold out the dates we were there - the only people I saw were around the pools. The map you get when you arrive shows you where everything is supposed to be - be mindful that almost none of these facilities actually work. Almost no shops, no cafes, etc its all packed up or closed, or there is no indication it was there at all. The supermarket on site is cash only and all the prices are scraped so you have no idea how much anything costs. The inside of the resort looks like a car park with trees in it, there are leaves and trash around the cars and entries of the buildings. The place is huge, but looks like there is zero maintenance effort. Our room looked dirty even though it smelled like someone has cleaned it just before we checked in. The furniture is old and used up, the TV was very old, it has iptv installed with about 20 channels. The sofa had stains that someone tried to clean, but really could not and it looked disgusting. The bathroom was spacious, but again - old equipment and used up. The sunbeds around the pools look like they have been laid on the sun for 25 years, there’s random leaves/sticks floating in the water. There are no decent beaches nearby with sunbeds and umbrellas too. The resort probably has a problem with birds too as there is bird excrement everywhere - on our balcony, on the AC body, on the chairs and sunbeds, its disgusting. We tried to get food in one of the restaurants, but no one came to take our order and probably for the better as the table was dirty and the chairs had stains on them. The winds probably changed one of the nights as suddenly the air smelled like manure - not sure if its the water treatment facility nearby or a farm, but its really strong and ruins the next few hours. This whole place is a joke, i feel robbed out of my money and weekend time. What they try to sell to people does not exist, or at least...
Read moreI stayed for 3 days and as a weekend getaway I actually didn't hate it. It's a nice resort that's kind of remote but still close to a few restaurants and shops. It caters nicely for tourists, the staff speak a few languages in order to make communication between them and guests easier. The resort itself has a few shops, a gym, a barber and a restaurant. The view from our room was gorgeous, overlooking the coastline, and the beach was just a 3 minute walk away.
HOWEVER...
It was very busy when we visited. There are two separate pools on either side of the main road and good luck if you wanted to come down after waking up and grab a bed by the pool. By the time it hits 9am about 90% of the sunbeds are claimed by towels with the owners of said towels not coming to the pool HOURS later.
The large pool sports a very nice looking pool bar that you can swim up to, which is great, what isn't great is the fact that the management has left two servers to make drinks for what feels like the entire resort, leading to long waiting times at certain hours. And the drinks are also very expensive, for the same money as 3 cocktails you can go to the Lidl 5km out of town, buy a few liters of alcohol and drink all night.
The room we stayed in was ok, excluding a few issues such as the boiler in the room not working, the internet and TV not working initially and the AC units leaking on the balconies.
The beach next to the hotel isn't the best, even by Bulgarian standards. The water is rather unpleasant to swim in and the beach itself is quite small and also gets packed with people quickly.
Overall if you haven't been to a Bulgarian beach holiday and don't want the crazy scenes you get at Sunny Beach you could...
