Belchin view — Hotel in Samokov

Even though the place was well mantained and sanitized, the service and treatment we got was absolutely horrendous. We were a group of 17-18 people that came to this place for a celebration of a friend turning 18. Even though we were a super civilized group, the landowner treated us like scoundrels who do not deserve respect.

The last straw was drawn when at 3 am a couple of us were talking in the room that we had RENTED, the landowner came in and said "I did not want to get up, but now you have to go to sleep. Don't make me come here again!"

The man did not act mature and did not want to show us the respect we deserved not because of our age, but because of our treatment to the place and staff.

We came to this place to celebrate a special occasion, however we will be leaving this place bitter, as the owner of the place decided to act as if we were a couple of students on a school camp.

This attitude is UTTERLY unacceptable, as it makes the clients of the guest house feel GUILTY for staying at the said place.

We will not be coming back here ever again.

If you respect your dignity and voice, you should never visit this place as well.

EDIT: I have to add that this review is solely targeted at the owner of the place. The rest of the staff were lovely people, ready to help us in any moment. I want to commend the young man who worked at the bar, who was tirelessly working for the whole time we were there. Great people and I would love to see the place be ran by a person with the same integrity as the rest...

😊: We kinda enjoyed our visit. The place offers great value for money – the view is beautiful, the food portions are generous and reasonably priced, and the host was very welcoming and kind.. 😢: What we didn’t like as much is that the location is quite remote – in the middle of a valley and very close to a road. The building itself is not very well maintained, with most things feeling quite old. Also, the children's playground and the small playroom were not very entertaining or sufficient to keep kids engaged.

😊: Vše nakonec předčilo očekávání! Velice milí a ochotní majitelé, fantastický výhled z pokoje i terasy i kvalitní vybavení pokoje. Bohatá snídaně dle dohody. Je tam ještě obří potenciál pro rozvoj a majitelé mají i velké plány, které jim překazil dosud Covid. Držíme ji palce! Překvapil nás i dostatečný počet zásuvek na dobíjení a prima teplo uvnitř stavby, přestože už se netopilo.. 😢: Hlučné zámky pokojů a rozvrzaná chodba resp. staré dřevěné schody. Málo parkovacích míst na zpevněném povrchu - museli jsme parkovat až na rozmoklém trávníku, přestože místa ke zpevnění plochy je tam dost. Některé místní bulharské děti byly nevychované a z chodby a mlácení dveřmi od pokojů a bujarých pokřiků si stvořily vnitřní bojové hry, za ne/dozoru lhostejných rodičů. Ale naštěstí v noci byl klid pro pokojný spánek. Stejně tak velká část bulharských hostů neuměla ani zabučet, natož odpovědět na náš pozdrav (bulharštinu ovládáme a bohužel, máme i částečně bulharský původ, takže se za to...
