Hotel Elit — Hotel in Sandanski

These appartments are clean and modern bedding was comfortable.|The shower toilet is an all in one wet room so be careful where you point the shower head as soggy toilet roll is useless.|The cleaners knock in the mornings and check if you want any cleaning, towels etc. Tv's were on the wall one in main room and one in bedroom. Only a couple of english speaking channels, rest are euro.|The staff speak a minor ammount of English and we found them friendly and you can get round that with google trans if need be. quite new hotel with clean rooms and bath. However, the furniture in the studio, we have, is minimalistic - sometimes you lack a chair for example (only two small stools). Still the studio has kitchen facilities, incl. refrigerator, which is quite comfortable when you have kids with you. The other "missing" thing is the terrace - 1,5 m2 only. To be honest, the kingsize bed and the very large sofa are really comfortable. The location is great - at the beginning of the 5 km-long city park and the entrance of the hotel is literary at the park alley (no cars and kids could go even alone outside). The "free parking" has only 6-7 places but there is also an underground parking, which costs 5 BGN (EUR 2,5) per night. The WiFi is for free but...

We stayed only one night in Hotel Elit. The place is near shops and restaurants of the area. Within 2 minutes you can reach the main road where all restaurants, cafes and shops are located. The room was big, with 2 bedrooms and a large bathroom. The beds were comfortable BUT in the bathroom there was no bathtub or a shower where you can bathe without flooding the place and keep the water detained.. This is quite important because if you are with your family and you want to have a shower, the rest should wait in order for the bathroom to dry!
