Definitely doesn't deserve the 4 stars which stand under the sign. Even after the pandemic and being closed for several months, the place was poorly maintained. The staff were doing their best to be polite and professional but for some of them it was obvious that they were poorly trained at their job. In our opinion the best staff was the chambermaid - our room was always very clean, tidy and smelling fresh. There is a beautiful panoramic view of Tryavna from both of the restaurants. At least the hotel was not crowded during our visit, but we had to reserve the use of any of the spa facilities, and wait for the staff to prepare them. There is an underground garage with a lot of parking spaces which were marked only on the walls. There was also a lot parking spaces outside of the hotel. I saw a sign that if you want a guaranteed space you have to pay 5lv at the reception desk. Definitely we will think twice...
Read moreWe were at the hotel on March 3 this year:||- the room was cold (we were left with the impression that the heating was turned on 2 hours before check-in);||- there was no hot water - there was a window of 2 hours, in which there was, then off again;||- the water in the pool was cold, as well as the common areas, including the SPA area, which was absurd because people are in bathrobes and slippers and it is very unpleasant;||- in the package we had breakfast and dinner - dinner was horrible - dried fresh cabbage with carrots and pork with boiled vegetables. We were shocked by the price we paid. It was cold in the restaurant, too. Breakfast was okay.||||In our package, we had 20 minutes in the jacuzzi (which was cold again), plus a salt room for 20 minutes. The rest of the SPA facilities are pretty expensive for the low quality they offer.||||We won't be back for sure, very...
Read moreDecent hotel. Not 4 stars for sure, but a superior 3. The junior suite is indeed very large, about 30sqm and has a spare extendible coach. Bathroom is clean and has a haidrier, daily service for shampoo. Although there is a safe in the room, the minibar is only by request and the mini-fridge is turned off. There are now bath robes nor slippers, which to my knowledge are a standard for a four stars hotel. Swimming pool is decent but gets crowded and it only works until 18:00 the same as the sauna. Arrive later and everything is closed. Sauna is usable upon request (that means is cold when you come) and it is extra cost. Personnel is well intended and kind but speaks little to no English. Coffee at breakfast is completely burnt, so get a proper...
