Home Stone Resort — Hotel in Battambang

After staying in some terrible hotels in Cambodia booked for us by an agent we were expecting something not so good. I was unable to find any reviews on trip advisor too so we started to get worried especially when we realised it was too far out of town to walk but we were blown away when we pulled in. The place is absolutely stunning from the pool area to the rooms which were furnished beautifully. This place is only 4 weeks old and the owner Fi could not do enough for us. We even cancelled our afternoon of touring we liked the place that much. The owner even offered to take us into town if we wanted to go out for dinner but we are so glad we didn’t because the food was amazing. Breakfast was delivered to our room at 7am and you can even log into Netflix on the tv. We just can’t say enough about this place and we would definitely stay...

The rooms are large and grand and the pool is very nice, that’s the only positive thing to say, be warned a lot of what is on there website is simply incorrect. There’s on restaurant or first floor or tranquil gardens to walk around after dinner. Communication with the staff was extremely difficult, it usually resulted in them having to ring the person in charge and them handing the phone to you. We found a very limited dinner could be brought to the premises but they don’t supply what’s on the menu in the room, According to them it’s out of date, If you are using the “resort” for sleeping and the pool only then I’d say recommended, btw nothing is within...

The pool is not safe at all. My little sister got badly cut at the kids section of the pool because she scraped her knee badly on the missing tile on the poor floor. There were missing tiles throughout the whole pool, not just in the kids section. How can owner not care to fix the tiles, it seemed like they haven’t fixed it in ages. I would not...
