I was also at Kroma Villa during your stay with my Khmer wife. and our son. Here is my testimony on the real behavior of your group: You were 8 people and you took a room that only sleeps 6. The owner welcomed you kindly, even though she had the right to refuse you and replace you with other guests. You came with a huge cooler full of food supplies. A cooler so heavy that it took two men to carry it upstairs. It's totally forbidden to bring your own food, especially in such large quantities. The landlady pointed this out to you, but accepted you anyway. If everyone behaved like you, the hotel wouldn't survive. You're not going to a friend's house, you're going to a place that sells food for a living. My family was below your room. You went up and down the stairs so noisily that we were startled every time. Also, in your room, while you were eating your own food, you were very noisy. The owners came to warn you. Regarding breakfast, it's the same for everyone. 3 or 4 eggs (scrumbled or omlet), 3 breads and enough butter and marmelade per person, included tea or (good) coffee, and fruits. You could easily go to the market, which is 200 meters away, to have a Khmer breakfast wherre it is cheap and good as well. Finally, despite of all these inconveniences, I politely said hello 3 times to you when you were in the field around the table, when two of you were in the swiming pool, and the next day when you were coming down your room, but I didn't get any reply from you. My wife comes from a small village in the rice fields. She and her dad always make us feel welcome. Being well welcome doesn't on your nationality but on your behavior. One last word. I was right next to you when you ordered only pizza for 8. It was you who was rude and unpleasant to the staff.
In short, it was your behavior that was inappropriate and yet you were welcomed. And you dare to make 3 comments overflowing with bad manners. I hope that my feedback on your stay will help you to see the situation in a different...
Read moreNice place on koh dach island. Pwrfect place for a day away from the city, very easy access from the city centre by tuktuk. I usually go there by bike which is the perfect getaway! A very nice ride and quite a few place to visit on the island but also silk island. The rooms have aircon and all you could need, beds are actually quite comfortable and large. Hot shower of course which is pretty pleasant as the temperatures can drop quite a lot at night. The best feature for sure is the pool, perfect place to relax and read a book after a nice dip. They even have a Pizza oven and offer a nice selection! I have been there many times to stay over or even only to chill an afternoon and never been disappointed. They also have the cutest puppy at the...
Read moreWe went hear for an early morning bike ride and arrived here around 9:30 and decided to order some coffees for all of us (3 people) and one passion soda and a fried rice. After sitting and waiting 15 minutes they took our order. (We were the only people at the restaurant). After about 40 minutes they bring the coffee, passion soda and fried rice. The fried rice was a 7/10 while it was acceptable it was nothing special; the passion soda was good with no complaints and tasted very genuine. The coffees we sadly nearly undrinkable being not very good at all. It was a bit of a disappointment as this could have been a nice place to drink a coffee on our...
