We booked for 2 nights online on thier website with a credit card the day before arriving.||We arrived in phnom phen on the night bus at 630am it took forever to find this place and when we arrived looked in the middle of a run down area away from bars resturants etc.||I hadnt recieved a confirmation email so went to reception and explained i had paid and they money had gone through could we have our room the guy was a thick as the wall and said i cant log on to my system i lost the password one month ago and the company who took your payment we no longer use!! So he tried to ring this company . after waiting about 45 mins still no luck can i show him my cc statement (the payment had yet to show up on online banking) i explained this and he basiclly said i cant do anything and u cant stay when i said why cant we stay we have paid and by the rime we check out it will have come through and if not we can pay u then.. he then went on to say the prices had gone up and wed have to pay more in the end we just walked out and the bill now has come through to comfirm we have paid so i am now $30 out of pocket and we had to find other accomadation id give this place...
Read moreWe have stayed in the Hang Pech guest house for several occasions during our trips to Phnom Penh and always had a great time. The rooms are spacious, have cable TV, air con and comfortable beds. The staff at the reception and the cleaning staff are really great. They took great care of our children and did a great job cleaning our room.||Next to the reception they have 2 new computers with Internet connection and Wi Fi in the whole building. ||||The only downside is that they only sell cold drinks and small snacks, but no breakfast. Read moreWe stayed 2 nights in this family run guesthouse. The rooms were clean, with fridge and TV and a decent size- staff are friendly. The location is near the Genocide Museum but you need to take a tuk-tuk every time to the city centre for good food and other attractions. (cost $2 per ride).
