The Nathy Kohkong Hotel and I got off to a bad start, I didn't hear reception ask for upfront, in-full payment. I'd have refused anyway, it was an unknown quantity so better safe than sorry. However, the room was spotlessly clean, modern, safe with solid window bars and electronic key entry. Aircon and hot water fine, two comfy beds but TV useless.||Word of warning, the bathroom and floor tiles were slick as a skating rink and frankly scary to step onto when wet. Rubber thongs supplied partly helped but I needed to lay a dry towel down to prevent the shower water (no screen) from covering the floor. Full late night buses came and went without ever waking me and I only heard one door slam in my 9 nights. Happy days returned when on day 7, I handed over $140 in brand new USD notes to bring up to date my room charge. Clean new notes are much prized in Cambodia, I never used the local Riels as locals don't value them. I would highly recommend the Nathy Kohkong Hotel as a good value, safe and clean spot stay safe in this odd...
Read moreWe arrived in Koh Kong very late and our taxi driver recommended this place. It looks new and has a big room with 2 big beds, optional fan inside an airconditioned room. The toilets are spacious.Big parking area and security present at all times, each floor has CCTVs. The bed is excellent, we had a great sleep. Very clean hotel.||||This hotel has no restaurant and you have to go out and walk a bit in the area to find an eating place which is not difficult as it is situated in the center of Koh Kong. Minimarts and Markets alongside and even a pharmacy.||||A bit off were the staff. They do not say hi or smile at you. Both receptionists seem to be very busy on their phones.||||Everything is fine, except that surprisingly as I search for it in TripAdvisor, it is under B&B category which is really not. Good deal for $20! I recommend it for a...
Read moreWe stopped here for 2 nights as part of our tour in Cambodia. The hotel has basic rooms and facilities but is said to be the best available in Koh Kong at the moment as the number of tourists is starting to increase. The room has no safe deposit box, very hard beds and gave the impression of being unfinished. There are no tea/coffee making facilities in the room, or the hotel for that matter, so if you need a cuppa before you get going in the morning be prepared to walk to the nearest coffee shop. The beds are incredibly uncomfortable, like other reviews, the beds are not at all comfortable and can only be likened to sleeping on the floor. To note, if you require your room to be cleaned while you are out and about you will need to hand your room key in at reception before you leave...
