This revue is written from a traveller's perspective. The hotel is a 15 minute walk or a 3USD tuk tuk ride from the centre. The receptionist barely speaks English and there are no maps or trip booking facilities at all.||||For some reason the lights in the corridors don't always come on. There is WIFI in the room but no room safe. Water and coffee are provided free and there is a fridge. When we came back into the hotel today the cleaners had not locked the door. The stand in bath shower would be OK if there was a shower curtain.||||The staff in the restaurant appear to be more interested in the length of their skirts than in providing a service. Read moreWe stayed for 2 nights in this hotel on a business trip. Nobody at the Front-desk upon arrival but after some shouting someone showed up after several minutes. |I had a huge room with a large bed where they could easily have put a sitting area but there were just 2 chairs.|The bathroom had a shower and there was a big hole in the ceiling through which you could see the ceiling. The bathroom was clean but the towels of a poor quality and the quality of the bed linen as well. The laundry service provided was good and laundry came back the same day. |Nowhere in the room any sign about fire safety and escape routes nor a smoke detector. Read moreThis hotel is about a 15 minute walk from the riverfront which is where all of the bars and restaurants are (there aren't a ton in Kratie but it would have been nicer to be close to them).||The hotels also looks much nicer than it is, the rooms are mediocre. The setting is dreary. the water in our room didn't work for the first night and the staff seemed unconcerned. The staff in general weren't very helpful or attentive. A member of my party also says she returned to her room one afternoon to find the cleaning staff had left her room unlocked. ||The restaurant and free breakfast is really greasy, but their iced coffee is good.||The hotel advertises a pool- this does not exist. ||I'd recommend staying in this hotel only if it is your last option. There are better looking and probably cheaper backpacker options near...
